I lived in Germany at that time and this was one of the first ever tracks of D&B I was listening to… I was getting into electronic music after a long period when the only music was jazz/fusion… sweet memories…
This tune was on a compilation I bought when I first got into Dnb properly. Oh my gosh this touched my soul so deep then and still does now. Echo previous comment. GOLDEN ERA!
hey there partna. I have good news for you. You can find this song in a mix by Blu Mar Ten. soundcloud(dot)com/blumarten/blu-mar-ten-from-the-vaults-vol-2-intelligent-mix-1997 you can download it for free and this is somewhere in the middle of the mix I believe. That's all the help I got but I hope it works somewhat
A bit of trivia. Shane McEnhill, the guy who cut a lot of tunes at Tape2Tape at the time, including this one, sent me a copy of this and the other releases on Way Out back in the day.
Maaan, way the heck back in '96, this was when I started listening to D&B.. The Fountain was my fav tune for many years. 10 trucks of respect to you Blu mar ten for uploading!
Thnks for all the tracks over the years and for uploading them to youtube. Think this may be my favourite of all your productions. Loved it since i heard it in '96
Such a great track, Golden era in my opinion. anyway been searching for a track came out around same time as Fountain, John Coltrane vocal sample taken from an interview " Some set things that I know, some harmonic devices that I know will take me out of the ordinary" anyone can help?????
This song is marvelous however the mix is not suitable for most of the speaker systems but headphone only. The mastering of this track is quite poor when the melody is not noticeable when listen with speakers.

2024 and still listening to this banger. I was born in 2003 but this song just fills me with nostalgia from the days of the PS2.
This gets better with every passing year.
Twenty one and counting
this one is one of the greatest liquid tracks in 1990s,i like the liquid funky bass of this. But there were also other great tracks.
Best tracks from artcore 4
Matrix - Fluid Motion
Smoke Screen - Nu Breeze

This is great! Love songs like this that don't have to be hardcore to make a really nice DnB song. Soothing and jazzy

One of the my favorite BMT productions, between this and Global Access the length of the tracks feels like 3 minutes because it takes you for a ride
Oh God, the memories with this one...
Was into Drumand Bass from the start but this was my first jazzy DnB tune, never looked back.
Brendan Wells I can relate mate
This is one of my all-time-favors!
