If D&b core ever has to be deployed you know we are in the shits his job is more of a public outreach posistion rather than active duty; he is an officer btw

Ooh-rah Marine! I was a Sergeant of Marines, too. I knew I liked you before but now I love you! Your channel is very inspirational. My five-year-old son is taking drum lessons so I watch a lot of your videos to help him learn more at home. Hoping he’ll become a Marine one day like his Mom and Dad. It would be cool if he joined the Marine Corps Band-something I wish I had done while I was enlisted. Keep making great content, Marine. You’re awesome!
@emcproductions - thanks for the reminder of barracks life. I spent plenty of time in my share while in the navy at NS Ljttlecreek...used to see all the bandies there for school
This is pretty incredible. I actually thought you rented out a school bandroom on the weekends for your videos. Those custom drums in the car are amazing
A few of my DCI friends from the 90's are/were in the corps and we got to see them in a Friday night show a few years ago and had an amazing experience! Except they didn't fire the canons because it was raining that day :( BUT we did get to attend a reception at the officer's mess/building afterwards and that was just as cool as the show! Eric should do a tour of all the great restaurants in walking distance of the Barracks!
Was that the Fort Henry snare drum that appeared on its own (looked like it was in a stairwell)? Always loved the visits when you guys would come north to Kingston or we would go down there. Not sure if you have had a chance to participate in one of those trips as budget cuts at Fort Henry have hit pretty hard. EDIT: It is! How awesome- I'm glad you included it! (@15:11) And of course, the legendary Col. Truman Crawford (Fort Henry Honorary guard number 25)- what a great man, and great picture!
So awesome how much you are able to do given your situation. Your content is phenomenal and I would have never guessed! Thanks for giving us a deeper peek into your life.
Semper Fi Leatherneck. I played drums (bass, cymbals) in 29 Palms Drum &Bugle Corps, Temporary Additional Duties. I’m a drum fanatic nut. OOOOHHHH RRRRAAAA. Every Marine is a Rifleman regardless of MOS!!!
the hat and the horn @15:07 are from the Norwegian army and His Majesty the King's Guard (HMKG) and the signal troop. The hat is of a major grade. Now you know, if you've ever wondered :) H5 is the anagram of King Harald the 5th of Norway. Great to see that they are on display :D
So cool seeing all this. Do you ever wish you could be out of the single enlisted housing and in an apartment or house or something? Does it feel like college, living there?? (I mean, the AF does call them dorms, I feel like for a reason.)
Eric, I see you have a Sopranos poster. Did you know there is going to be a movie released about Tony and his friends before he became the boss he was in the show?
I was genuinely shocked to find out the fireplace was green screen
Who said it was a Green Screen 👀
Same
A fireplace in Marine Barracks? Wishful thinking.
literally me too i was SCHOCKES
Video 7 of commenting till emc makes a vibraslap cowbell
Why do you do this? It's borderline harrassment. He's a VERY busy guy
@@gettingittogether424 i talked to him on instagram about this and he said hes fine with it.
I'll pray that it will happen
That is such a good idea
Pearl Vibrabells are kiiiinda close. Closer to agogos, probably.
There’s no one here because it’s Sunday morning...
“I have 24/7 access to a bouncy house”
"And I take full advantage of that."
Normal high school drummers: normal desk
Marines: *Desks aren't manly, we use drum pads because we are MANLY*
Your bottom spock of the spockenspiel has the fundemental of C#4/Db4 but I’m hearing more of the harmonics, so I hear more of F4. 🤓
I had the same.... Probably close to f#
@@noah-berg bongos, congas, timbales and tamborim. Those are some single headed drums too.
10:32 You tuned the bottom drum to an F, so you transposed the instrument up a perfect fourth. Perfect.
Yeah, I thought so too. It’s always kinda difficult to tell with these drums though because of the overtones.
So you are a Marine, a killing machine, damn so many talents.

"24/7 access to a bouncy house."
Welp, day one of asking Eric to make a 3am bouncy house video.
the few, the proud, the scared of spiders, the marines
I wonder how many more pull-ups he could have done if he didn't skip the ones covered in spider webs?
EMC i might be coming to see you at the show on friday!
FYI his name is Eric so I guess call him Eric or the EMC guy if he’s available to talk to

Love this guys beyond dry sense of humor.
Thank you for your service Eric. Looks like an amazing environment to chase being your very best. Keep it up.
When you said I have 24 hour access to bouncy house, and I take full advantage to that, that made me die 🤣
Love your content! You are the reason I picked up the sticks and started playing again. Used to play snare for my high school drum battery
@emcproductions - thanks for the reminder of barracks life. I spent plenty of time in my share while in the navy at NS Ljttlecreek...used to see all the bandies there for school
I loved the Ode to Joy on the Spockenspiel
I always thought you recorded at a High School or something lol
Me to
Good Morning. We will now begin the pushup section. Ready? Begin. Down.... up 1, Down.... up 2, etc
Woah, didn't realize you were stationed so close lol. I'm stuck on Andrews AFB but got to the Navy Yard pretty often.

holy crap dude youre a SGT?! I found your page when you were a lance. Congrats and Semper Fi.
It's three spots: the band room, the green screen, or the desk (possibly same place with screen retracted).
Am I the only one who thought he was some goofy middle school drum teacher lol?

The only thing in the community kitchen is a flat top grill and a sink and some counter space
So it’s essentially a college dorm building? Lots of similarities

Wait..how is he Sergeant when in the video where he got kick out the marine, he bite ended with addressing him as Lance Corporal!?
Emc, I think I'd like you to meet my 8 and a half year old son. He wants to drum like you. He's our special kid.
16:26 I was hoping for the bd snare intro 2017
Emc I need private lessons about drooping
Very interesting to say the least😎
Nice
Omg emc, I have been waiting for this video for years. My bed room at home looks like your studio
Don't worry eric, when i'm there with you in the commandants own, i'll cook you a nice meal. So long as you're there in like 7 years
Just one question: Is there actually a Window behind your greenscreen, or just a wall? I couldn't live in a room without any windows.
New glasses!
you tuned the tenor glock to Pain#
What's the glass cabinet at 15:07? I see the seal of Harald V of Norway, and a statuette of a norwegian drill corps dude
Is it choice that keeps you in barracks? E5 in the Navy we were eligible for BAH and getting our own place. Either way, well done.
11:34 look at the birds
Will you audition for the President’s Own for a percussion spot??
Damn, the corps don't treat you guys very well with these rooms. Glad I chose the Army.

I assume you have to option to live “off campus” if you choose to?
It sounds like the bottom note was tuned a little flat, but other than that, it seems pretty close to C!
2:43 You still have the shorts on
yo you should make a remake of this
2:48 66Samus on the beat
Why are the gaming consoles locked up? 6:31
to answer the perfect pitch question. the key is Db!
The picture of the Contras went by too fast. Was Chip in there? 😀
Here before you blow up cause of agt
You should make an arrangement of Tornado by Mitch Markovitch for tenor
The drooping cam was very high brow
Did you make it past the auditions on agt?
Eric please make a video dedicated to fitness

Whenever I drive by the barracks I wonder what you’re doing lol
Anti-theft cases on the x-box and play station?
I think you need to go back & do pull-ups on the ones with spiders.
Are there only Musicans living there?
(sorry 4 my bad english, i usally speak German)
No. There are many Marines who do different jobs living there as well.
