- Kintaro reacts quickly when that sound is heard from the park's public address system.
He rushes to his mother, Genki. Naturally, the father, Momotaro, also begins his patrol.
Kintaro did not leave his mother for an hour.
For lunch, Genki's mother had given him some bamboo shoots.
Kintaro was looking at it as if he wanted it.
Bamboo shoots picked in the garden. The gorillas were given two of them to share with their father Momotaro, who ate them indoors yesterday, and mother Genki got them this day.
Maybe it was the first time this year for the leaves of Basho (Japanese banana), too?
Finally, the reason why father Momotaro is chasing Gentaro is because Gentaro knocked down mother Genki when Kintaro was chasing after Gentaro, who invited him? Did they bump into each other?
I think it was father Momotaro's discipline because mother Genki made a sound at that time. It was over in an instant, so no problem.

The Momotaro family were all born and raised in Japan!
Momotaro (father) was born on Jul 3, 2000
He came to the Kyoto City Zoo in 2010.
Genki (mother) was born on June 24, 1986.
I was born in Kyoto and came back to Kyoto.

When the alert sound goes off,the gorillas go into their position of protection,and kintaro goes immediately to genki for protection,momoto does his.moving around to show.his strength,and gentaro goes in position where momoto trained him to be,its always safe to be on the alert,than not 😮

Can an overgrown infant, little momma’s boy grow up to be a great silverback? That’s what I’m wondering? I don’t believe that Momo was coddled and spoiled when he was growing up but I’m not sure. I know he lost his father and he lived by himself for a while with no mother…..if I’m correct. That would certainly explain why Momo is such a great silverback with an intimidating personality. Last week, when Gentaro jumped on Momo and bit him in the back, knocking Momo forward onto all fours, Momo’s reaction was instant. He got back on his feet, swung around started punching Gentaro….genki and kintero got in the middle and that gave Gentaro a moment to get away but Momo was quickly on Gentaro , punching him and showing Gentaro the vampire teeth that he can rip him to pieces with. Momo is a force to be reckoned with.
Momoko is a good mom but she raises her kids to be independent. None of her children were clingy after a certain age. They love her very much though. Everyone in that family wants to be around her 😂

Kintero is only 5 years old. Still a child. I think removing Momotero so young from his mother made him lonely and unhappy, which shows in his personality. If he'd had more nurturing, he would be different.
Kintaro is going to be a wonderful silverback when he grows up. He's very intelligent for his age, very agile (even outruns daddy on occasion) and he is compassionate (so he'd make a great father as well). And he doesn't balk at daddy's discipline, so he will be brave in fighting situations. He knows the hierarchy and when to give in to someone higher on the family status. He's going to be great! Startling noises would scare any 5 year old.
