-Documentary Forever
Who's here before this goes super viral?
Here
Yessss brother
Always
Me
I pray to the Lord that this goes viral. I am here
Truly a great documentary it could have gone on forever and i woulda kept watching
And that’s why they called it documentary forever 👏😅
I didn't want it to end
im invested. when does season 2 come out ?
“I’m homeless… by choice”
*drives away in AMG Mercedes*
That dude rocks!
I need to know more about this guy what's his story
Right? Like how is he suppressed? Living in feces driving a $150k car?
Buys a f*cking farm at the end 🤯
My boy
one of the few youtube documentaries ab homelessness i can stand. super respectful and u can tell u really got to know these people.
Not homeless. Live on anchored boats in Richardson Bay. Local authorities are seizing and destroying the boats in the name of gentrification
These folks are really livin'.
My hats off to them.
im picturing myself 💩 in the ocean at sunset.
The hoff twins grandma hooking up with peter is some serious lore
I was like "Ayyooooo what is a hoff twin doing in this documentary?"
I think grandma died unfortunately
I couldnt believe it when they popped in for the cameo. Twins did it again.
2 biches in the benz
@@TJ-be6oxthis is Nic Mosher, he worked with Andrew for a while, seems they split ways.
Excellent Work. Although these people are homeless, they are not soulless, and seemingly, due to their situation, are in fact bursting with more sole than the rest of us. Huge props to the team that documented these peoples stories. As someone who lives near Marin, in Petaluma, having this niche and truthful story told, with no agenda or solution, and rather a ominous, articulate manifestation of these lived experiences, is a refreshing reflection on human nature.
To be fair, they have mental issues. I've met some of these people and can tell you first hand they're not all there.
This is one of the coolest peices of media I've ever seen
I hope he never loses that Amg 🙏🏻
He definitely loves that car
He is a multi-millionaire 😂. Really!
Unfortunately I saw the admiral in downtown San Rafael she doesn’t have it anymore
How this documentary only has 3.5k views and this channel has 300 subscribers I am unsure. This is amazing content, very professional! I will show this to everyone I know. Keep making amazing stuff!
It’s 3 days old… but I hope it gets the light it deserves
count again.
when that head of lettuce hit the ground I knew this doc was something special.❤
Never get between an Admiral and his $139,000 AMG!
thanks man this reminded me of home. spent a lot of time at gate 5 shoulder tapping for 40s at the baitshop in highschool. got every haircut i ever got at caladonia street barber and would always be fascinated by the homeless/boat dwelling folks that would stop in and chat everyone up.they were a big part of the community now that ive gotten older and moved away ive truly realized how special sauce town is when you look passed the immense pretentiousness and waspiness.
Peter is a saint. I just want to see more of him. I hope he never has to get his boat crushed.
He's in a nice condo now and living the dream
This was fascinating, documentary of the year material.
This is one of the best docs I’ve seen in a long while. Well done.
The one dudes moaning throughout this was the icing on the cake
Bless his cottons
Lol I was just about to comment this
Lmao 😂
Ughhhh yaaaaa
"Look at that. That's 5 speeds man."
These are the type of stories the world needs to hear
For what possible purpose. Stupid is as stupid does
@@carlmorgan8452 You sound like a real fun guy
Man’s got a 2D 5sp explorer, a bike, and a boat. Dudes living the life
That 2d 5pd is legit 😂😂
The 2D 5sp explorer was legendary dude
awesome local perspective. Can't ignore the timing of the deaths with the removal of the camps. people don't understand how disruptive those transitions can be.
Yal gonna be famous. Send this to film festivals. They will EAT THIS SHIT UP.
We need a documentary on The Admiral
Who is he? Why is he out there?
I went to the first channel 5 tour and Nic shortly promoted this doc and mentioned the admiral was homeless for 20ish years and was contacted and told he inherited 3 million dollars. He bought an AMG Mercedes and stayed homeless by choice!
@@codymaxwell3098good for him! Money well spent. 😂
@@codymaxwell3098what a boss.
There is one
In before this documentary blows up! Loved it. Peter and the bro with amg gt 🫡🫡
im literally in tears. i can’t stop rewatching this. i’ve never reacted this way to any form of media in my entire life. thank yoy so much.
i feel you big time.
wow. lets hug it out. 🫂
I love these old cats in fishing towns that got burned out and said fuck it, i'm doing me. There's something so relaxing about sleeping on the ocean. The sounds, the breeze, the smell. Good on them.
I love these people so much, this documentary is beautiful
yall got it down. exactly the type of thing we need to see and hear moving forward
Let this video be seen throughout the world and help restore our peace before it too late
Rest in Peace Emery❤Daniel☮️Mark🤙and Diamond the dog
This was such a beautiful documentary while not being too serious and also not overly satirical.
Love. Peace. Happiness.
RIP Emery & Daniel & Mark & the 22 year old dog
Wow, this was of the best documentaries I have watched in a while
I bought a 1977 Cape Dory
sailboat for $1 and sailed to Santa Barbara where I still live on it on my way to the south Pacific. They're not crushing this boat DORDI!
“He was a big deal in the 90s, now he makes pinecones turtles.” legendary.
😆😆😆🫡 the admiral
Absolutely incredible work, Nic. Bravo, and thank you. Thank you for sharing this truly candid tapestry of humanity; full of compassion, community and the perseverance of spirit. It was a thoughtfully delivered and heartfelt record of human experience, through the eyes of people that are so often overlooked, misunderstood or simply forgotten, and the indignity they endure is ignored. There’s a feeling of tragedy that pervades the end of the film, but the message was very clear. Love is the law. That clearly shone through the entire picture and gives it a hopeful feeling. Your work so far has been fantastic, I love the stories you have decided to share so far. Excited for whatever comes next.
The admiral was lit 💨
Incredible feat of filmmaking here- happy to see Nic Mosher carrying the torch from Harmony Korine
Nic you’re a legend for this.
Best doc I've seen in recent memory. Amazing x100. Hard to describe great work. It is what is!
This a beautiful documentary, strangely i feel drawn to these beautiful people
Why isn't a boat considered a home? How can one call them homeless? I STAND WITH THE BOAT PEOPLE! Actually very inspiring. Would love to live on the water.
50 minutes well spent. made me miss my bay area childhood
Best documentary I've seen in a long time. Incredible.
Found this because of insta. Can't wait to finish it tomorrow.
The Admiral reminds me of a modern day Hunter S Thompson.
We need more videos! I love seeing these beautiful humans and their beautiful experiences
Great documentary thank you was a great watch we see the homeless but never stop to see what there story is I wanna know more about the Admiral I feel like he has an entrusting life story
The Admiral was so fascinating i would’ve watched a whole documentary on him. He seems to be pretty particular & value his privacy. I think we saw all he would was willing to share.
So much beauty and so much pain in California. Great stuff.
He doesn’t just own a random AMG, but an AMG GT that’s so 🔥🔥
Payments and repairs made this man sacrifice it all for the GT lifestyle
Peter seems like such a wholesome grandfather figure. Really hope the best for him and the rest facing this issue
I love the crocheting guy so much he’s awesome
What a bunch of legends. 💜
Please never stop what you're doing, Nic.
Love IS the Law❣️
I can’t believe you chose that George Harrison song, but perfectly done. Not enough people know of it and it is one of the best in my opinion.
This documentary is amazing and I really appreciate you showing how people are just trying to live.
Stellar editing. Thank you!
Peter is so inspiring. He radiates love. People are crazy for not voting him in fr.
peters moaning of exertion is hilarious. but fam is fam, wherever you find it 👍
I need a mini episode on the homeless sl63 owner, he’s amazing
THIS !!!!
it's a amg gt which is even cooler, that's a big boy Benz
@@haoli2465 are you sure? I thought long and hard about it and the doors don’t go up like a gulf wing and it’s only 140k$
@@bosh1446 what you're referring to is the sls amg, the naming can be confusing sl63
Amg gt
I'm glad you guys have a beautiful place to be lost in your addictions.
peters noises good
This is my favorite documentary that exists.
reminds me of “carts of darkness” documentary
Wow. Great work, great film. More moving than pretty much anything ive watched on youtube in years and ive been here a while.
The hoff twins being wrapped up in this is crazy lol
Brilliant documentary. Bravo my friends
Gorgeous work. Real beautiful authorship. The humanity is evident on all fronts. Thank you.
Yeah I want to know more about the admiral and his background and how much money he has , that’s wild
Just Brilliant Man! I LOVE these Docs!!! Thank You!❤
thanks fellas. appreciate your work
Wow just wow! God bless those beautiful souls
Rewatching this only made it hit harder as a raw piece of human experience from a multitude of perspectives
Love u Nic & Evan
Alright I’m putting my stamp on history, I found this channel today and watched everything.
Congratulations on the documentary! Impeccable. I, as an oceanographer (almost a doctor), sailor and human, can perhaps weigh in on some sides. Life on board is certainly more sustainable. Support Peter and his partners
Excellent work. Thank you for giving such agency to these people.
Great film !!!!
Abolutly loved every minute of this
One of the best documentary’s I’ve watched
What a wild ride, good work Nic!
The real legends right here
"Hows that ham and carrots!? Got garlic in Y'all!!"
the world needs to see this...
I'm honoured to be here before the views go to the moon, this is so good! And it was so special to see this before the hundreds of thousands of hipsters do. ❤
This documentary is wholesome AF & should be shown in schools. After all, the over 500,000 homeless folks are human, too. And while that number is climbing-- it should remind us that we live with them and many more Americans that live on the poverty line/rotate between homelessness and renting.
The National Coalition for the Homeless estimates that between 40 and 60% of people who are homeless shift in and out of full-time and part-time work. Just for all of those "get a job you lazy bum" sayers.
Maybe not the meth pipe or peters azz crack throughout 😂😂 but I somewhat agree the community, the lessons on substance abuse and conforming to society, being aware of others and your surroundings. Helping others and it’s a good lesson for future governmental leaders
I'm very excited to see whatever else y'all got cooking. This documentary was great all around. %100 friend.
I needed this. God bless everyone involved❤
Nic. Great job, this a great piece and shows the other perspective. I hope Sausalito finds a solution that works for everyone
I found this bc of the instagram clip featuring The Admiral and his AMG GTS, but Ive now watched this whole thing a few times, and I can't believe the extent to which this captures the essence of living in coastal ca, I live and grew up in santa cruz and so much of this resonates, especially wrt the city and the ""problem"" of people living on boats or in tents. This is a very very good piece of work
The old man grunts in the beginning😂
Unnnnnhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The guy at 10 minutes saying you can’t live like that. Who is he to decide how someone else should live? I hate that mindset. Everyone has a right to pursue what makes them happy, and if living in a boat makes you happy do it.
What makes me happy is living in your house for free and eating your food for free
Hella good. Love from the bay
Wonderful. You have a new subscriber. All the best.
That's best written characters i've ever seen in my life❤
this is just pure beauty
It is so fucking good
This is a good example of how people in power will utilize the climate or environment to oppress populations..but we love you
This documentary is amazing,
This channel is wildly underrated, this is the first time I've learned of this situation and people. Gives me perspective and makes me thankful for what I have and realize that on my worst days I can be happy and greatful for what I do have. You make some of the most genuine and real content Ive seen on TH-cam in a while and I hope it continues to be that way. Great stuff yall
Peter is someone whos never came back from their first acid trip in 1969. With quotes like “we have the authorities on their heels” brings you directly into the mindset of this man
And how are you helping him?
Dudes totally the product of Timothy Leary era
I bet he's more put together than you
❤him
Awesome documentary! Raw and real!
Thanks for capturing this time and place - an incredible watch
Found your channel last night. Was hoping for more Admiral. Kudos on your docs
Masterpiece documentary
Watched this whole thing. Amazing job!!!!
This is a great film definitely be looking for more thankyou
