Anamika Joshi (@battokibakwaas ) performs under the name 'Batto' and calls it 'Batto Ki Bakwaas'. Her first poem "Maa tum bhi galat ho sakti ho" got immense love and won hearts beyond borders. She picks weird unsaid topics that exists all around us, but often go unnoticed. After surviving as a copywriter for 10 years, she recently discovered her love for a mic and an audience, which she says brings the best out of her as a writer and a performer.
Currently, she is working on launching her podcast to continue with her bakwaas and bring stories around artists and performers from all across.

Though I agree with every word she says, there are certain grey areas where every relationship fails:
1) Equality in marriage
2) No boundaries for both
3) Both shouldn't judge each other if they spend time with the opposite sex of their liking
4) No desire for special status for both
5) Both shouldn't object on each other's habits
6) Both should not try teaching each other what their responsibilities are?
7) Both shouldn't be touchy about criticism
8) Both shouldn't judge each other if they couldn't help each other at the time of need.
9) Both should take care of their financial responsibilities and pool in equal amount if they have kids.
10) Both should not take each other for granted.

So these are the terms and conditions to get married?
Suppose one person, that could be anyone wife or husband likes to go for drink and clubbing and the another one don't like. So if one is sitting at home and another one is going for clubbing or drinking and coming home late, still that person has to think and convince him self that no whatever the time he/she came late but still I trust him/her, I don't mind he/she coming late, I am very broad minded person....I am sorry but this is not possible, there should be some boundaries....
Suppose at home if we buy something heavy things automatically the male person of the family goes and pick that up, so now is there equality, no right?

I’d take this with a pinch of salt…. Just trying to create difference between men and women. Men and women are naturally different. We have the concept of ardhanarishwar” where both masculine and feminine qualities are present in a human being. My few thoughts on some lines…
And this “karne dete ho” thing…if you apply this to a husband and wife relationship, it feels so exploitative… try applying the same concept to your kids or your parents. You would want to know where your kids are, when will they be back, tell you where they are going. This is what relationships are made of. Love and care where we share our thoughts and feelings, we fight, we submit, we compromise. A home is not a lodging house where anyone can come anytime and go at anytime. Every house has some rules. And there are exceptional days, but, we try to follow it most of the times. It called routine though.
Why this hate directed only towards husband and his family? If we go to our offices, no one will care for our feelings. Boss ko gaali denge par kaam karenge aur extra kaam bhi karenge; par job nahin chhodenge. Ghar ka kaam karna pade toh saari duniya zulmi hai…
Also, trying to project “kitchen” a dirty word. It is the most sacred place in the house. You can live without working, but, not eating. I’d appreciate if people would respect the kitchen space.
We should not judge one’s character if she is wearing modern clothes. A woman can be of traditional thinking but wearing modern clothes. However, tropes like her will surely judge a woman in traditional clothing as “behen ji” or “ganwaar”. The opposite could be true too. A woman wearing traditional clothes with modern thinking…. Eg., Sushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani and many others we don’t know… I feel these women are exemplary and role models who have actually achieved something in their lives
Though I would agree that there are some families who definitely try to stop women from doing things, but, to paint everyone in the same brush, projecting the feeling of natural love and affection as exploitative…. Instead why don’t people try to inspire women to be confident. This poetry feels like it will lead to more of fights between families than inspire women…

अच्छा था ... नही शानदार था पर सच्चाई कुछ और ही होती है ।। समाज मे लकीरें अगर आदमी खिंचता है तो पालन उसका औरतें करवाती है । हमेशा सास को बहू से दिक्कत होती है और बहू को सास से , लकीरे कोई भी खींचे पर बढ़ती हमेशा औरतें ही है , माफ करना पर ज्यादातर घर की टूटने की वजह हमेशा औरते ही होती .. अगर भरोशा न हो अपने घर मे जरूर देखना .. जवाब अपने आप मिल जाएगा । बाकी 👌👌👌

वो समता, समकक्षता और एक होने के वादे याद आए
वो आत्मसम्मान और सशक्त करने के वादे याद आए
वो हंसी और हर पल खुशियों से भरने के वादे याद आए
वो हर कदम का साथ और हर सपने को पूर्ण करने के वादे याद आए
खयाल आया क्या भूल चुका हूं मैं वह सब कुछ,
क्या पीछे हट चुका हूं अपने कर्म के उन वचनों से,
मन की गहराई से जवाब आया अडिग हूं उस पथ पर प्रत्येक शब्द पर जिसका आधार हमारा साथ है।
कैसे समझाऊं शतक के करीब उन बूढ़ी आंखों को जिन्होंने ताउम्र कपड़ों में लिपटी महिला देखी है।
आज तुम्हें वो सलवार कमीज में देख खुश होती है कल स्कर्ट में देख भी खुश होगी।
आज दो चूड़ियों में देख खुश होती हैं कल बिन चूड़ियों के देख भी खुश होगी ।
ये सिंदूर ,मंगलसूत्र आज उनके चेहरे पर खुशियों के भाव लाते हैं कल इनके बिन सब संग हंसी ठिठोली करते पाओगी।
कुछ प्रश्न है मेरे भी तुमसे क्या मेरा वादा परिवर्तन का नहीं संग्राम और कलह का था?
क्या सदियों से चल रही रूढ़ियां जो परंपरा बन चुकी हैं इन बूढ़ी आंखों के मस्तिष्क पटल पर चंद लम्हों में मिटाई जा सकती हैं?
क्या आधुनिकता के अंधाधुंध पदार्पण में सब कुछ बदलना है?
क्या आधुनिकता और सशक्तता की आड में पश्चिम का भोग हमें लाना है?
हे मेरी प्रिय। समाज की इन रूढ़ियों में परिवर्तन शनै शनै होने दो,
नारी के समरूप को समाज को आत्मसात करने दो,
इस विद्रोह को, कोलाहल को घरों में ना पनपने दो।।
उन नन्ही कलियों को खिलने दो जो अभी-अभी दहलीज लांघने लगी है।
जाने अनजाने यह क्रंदन और संग्राम के सुर हजारों बागों में पहुंचेंगे ,
और उन नन्ही कलियों को खिलने से पूर्व ही बिखेर देंगे।
"मैं होता कौन हूं "सुनकर एक अहंकार का एहसास होता है,
अंधकार को अंधकार से प्रतिस्थापित करने का आभास होता है ।
नारी की समकक्षता की "जंग" नहीं नवचेतना में पग पग तुम्हारे साथ हूं ।
यह कोई संग्राम नहीं बस नव चिंतन का आरंभ और निरंतरता है बस निरंतरता है........

I don't understand why rural women are not feminist although their large percentage is also now educated. It's high time government focussed on rural population. Cities are now overloaded.
