I just returned my cx30 for the Cx50 turbo premium. I’m deeply in love with this vehicle (black interior) it’s amazing. If anyone is considering getting it please get the turbo engine, You won’t regret it. Greetings Mazda family from Westchester County NY…
@@yournightmare9999 I agree that turbos need a lil more attention, but they are super fun and in regards to the oil changes. even if it wasn’t a turbo my intervals are usually 4k for an oil change.
Highly considering getting the top trim hybrid or turbo. Do the premium plus trims HAVE to have terracotta interior? I really do not like it. Hoping there is a standard black leather interior. Any insight? Thanks! Nice video
Am considering the turbo premium. I found the passenger seat a little hard. What about wind noise on the hwy? Also looking at a Subaru Outback LTD XT. It is quite and comfortable seats
Guess I got lucky with my '24 CX-5 Signature....3 years of connected services included. Still can't for the life of me figure out why Mazda key fobs don't have a remote start function.
There is a real simple install of a wiring harness that will allow remote start. Not sure why Mazda won’t make it standard. Dealerships don’t have access to it through accessories either.
I have a 2023 CX-50 TPP, will the Traffic Jam Assist on the '23 get some kind of software update to make it similar to Cruising & Traffic Support? Lane centering only up to about 40 mph is kind of useless.
We haven’t had any of those issues to my knowledge, but also Mazda hasn’t said anything about fixing it. I think that issues was more to the original assembly/install.
How are the 2025 ride and driving dynamics improved over 2024? If a potential CX50 buyer is interested in ride and handling improvements over the 2024 models, what does the 2025 give us? What did I miss? Please explain.
The 2024 saw improvements in November production and later. So depending on which 2024 version/build date you have. Mazda changed the dampers and steering for a smoother ride and less firm steering.
I own a 2024 CX-50 TPP/sand/terracotta. When a car tried to cut me off the other day -- my car honked at it. Like "instant" and faster than my reflexes. Dam nice. I am still finding other unexpected (or talked about) things this car can do. Put 93+ octane in these cars in Sport Mode and these cars get fun quick. Lastly, the stock 20" tires/wheels are mediocre. I went with "offset" 18" wheels and Michelins...wider stance, better tires, quieter, lighter sprung weight, moreFun. Lastly, my stock battery spewed acid and died -- had to replace it with a Premium (more CCA) battery from NAPA.
IIRC, the price increase is just in the Destination charge. I kinda wish they hadn't dropped the roof line as much as they did, an extra inch of headroom would be nice.
It's lowered to accommodate stuff on the roof either with the cross bars or the meridians apex shelf... or even a 2 or 3 person tent on top (accessory available at your mazda dealer). You can also carry bikes or kayaks , or even a Thule. Your local mazda dealer may have some on display.
What other changes are there for 2025? No more base turbo? Per the Mazda US website, meridian has a lot more standard equipment but I don’t believe this is correct. They have ventilated seats, heated rear seats, and the 12 speaker Bose listed on it, as well. The premium/premium plus have those options listed as featured for those trims.
Still way too much plastic cladding on the sides/rear for a non-off road vehicle, the infotainment system is a step backwards, as big as that screen is, the reverse etc are small.
The wide but skinny info screen still looks like it was stuck on to the top of the dash with Super Glue as an after thought. The goofy thing is a deal breaker. Trot over to any Subaru dealer and see how the info system should be done.
Get a Premium and save $12,000. Turbos eventually caues engine problems. 256HP at 3900 LB still does not put it into a performance car catagory. The ride with 20" wheels is terrible. Sunroofs are useless with A/C. Leather seats are hot in the summer and crack with age.
Drove turbo and non-turbo versions. Non-turbo is a slow and boring dog. Worth every penny to get the turbo. Would buy a Rav4 if I wanted slow and boring. Cool seats fix the summer driving and if you take care of leather, it will last a very long time. These turbo motors are some of the best in the business. Take care of them and they will take car of you. Perceived value is simply an opinion not a fact.
Any update on if they fixed the wireless charger and its tendency to become a molten lava pad?

You can get black
How’s the heated steering wheel? Does it get hot? My cx 30’s barely gets hot, mostly just lukewarm.
Its warm the top and bottom don't get warm at all. its probably the same as your cx30.

We rented cars for our pizza restaurant for deliveries,we were given a new Mazda SUV CX,and was totally shocked how nice they were inside, and the ride
Great review. I love the rugged look of the CX-50.

Really? It's so the manufacturer can make money after the sale.

Does the 2025 CX-50 (NA/non-turbo) have cylinder deactivation and/or i-Stop?
Cylinder deactivation only.
@@JSS Well, that sucks; turbo it is then.
@@JSS According to Mazda USA site, the lower 3 trims do not have Cylinder deactivation. It looks like the press release had an error.
It depends on the trim. Check the Mazda USA site.
I saw an iStop button in that turbo he's showing @@Denmark_77
What a beautiful SUV! Nice info! Thank you! Thumbs up!
Amazing descriptions Jonathan this show lots of improvement on the beautiful CX-50 turbo Prenium Plus 2025 ,Can’t wait for the Rechargeable Hybrids
Hybrids are out now..... they use the toyota rav4s engine mated to a eCVT. You can test drive at your local mazda dealer soon.
any Idea if they have figured out the rattling Panoramic roof?
We haven’t had any of those issues to my knowledge, but also Mazda hasn’t said anything about fixing it. I think that issues was more to the original assembly/install.
Oh no 😮rattling roof ? My 2023 blazer had that issue . Had it replaced & rattling continued 👎🏽
Does CX-50 have dual paned windows like the CX-5?
Unfortunately, I don't think so.
Made in usa probably not cheap made

How is the road noise? I heard owners are trying to reduce noise aftermarket. A car at this price should be quiet
Great Video. I am just starting in Mazda Sales in Olympia Washington

The Duke says, does it have a dipstick? For oil. What did I teach you?
I have a Cx 5 Signature which has the painted cladding. Really do not like the black plastic cladding.
IIRC, the price increase is just in the Destination charge.

Fun fact, the second coolant reservoir is actually for the air to water intercooler on 7th gen turbos
The rip seat syndrome still an issue on the latest built? I guess time will tell.
Best car review thanks bro…

Nice❤
Bruh this got me so dizzy. I was tilting my head each time lol
Sounds personal.
I thought all the turbos did not have istop.
All CX-50 Turbos have i-stop. No CX-5 Turbos have i-stop
Every time u get in. Just hit the off button. Pain in the rear I know
Nice walk around! Interesting, no rear window shades.
Made in usa cheap
Why are they using the same dashboard that is part led/digital and part analogue? They can’t figure it out and make a fully digital dash.
No thanks , full digital is a disaster waiting to happen.
See @imdone's response. Simple fact is not everybody wants full digital.
46K nice price
Mazda please give it a 8 speed transmission. 6 speed is very outdated, especially for a turbo.
how is this better than before?
it's better because he can make a new video about same old car
It comes with Alexa (which he didn’t mention), USB-C ports and enhanced safety features. Plus a Toyota based hybrid system coming out this year.
New sticker 2025 and new 46K price 😉👌
I have the November 2024 and i don't think he mentioned anything differnt
more. more. more.
