- Today i get a custom H pipe installed on my 2020 Camaro SS 1LE to make the exhaust sound deeper and louder, more like a classic muscle car with less rasp and more pops.

Did the same thing on my 2019 except I removed the secondary cats too. Really wakes it up. Then I swapped the whole cat back out with a 3 inch MRT V3 exhaust. Never looked back. Sounds incredible
I heard the MRT in person a few weeks after making this video. It sounded great. They weren't sure if I would have been able to keep my NPP without a check engine light though

I'm a big fan of the H pipe bit there is a noise at idle that sounds a little like a leak or a missing weld. Its kinda of a slight hissing .
I cant seem to narrow it down.
Its right at idle or just off idle 🤔

@@BlackPanther1SS Definitely. I think you have to have one custom made for you though because there are no kits for a 6th gen Camaro SS. There are so many H-Pipe kits online for the Mustang GT but none for Camaro, I wonder why that is?

@@QueTheChaotic Well it's been about 40 years ago I was only like 14 years old then and yes Skate world is a roller skating rink it across 15 mile road right after the polish center heading west the stores kiddie corner from there was a school crazy how something change and others stay the same. H pipes do give more throttle response i have a 05 Sierra that I put on a H pipe I definitely noticed throttle response as it gives the engine more torque

I'm glad you went H pipe man. Though the X pipes do scavenger a bit better I to like the sound of H pipes. Has S-types and h pipe on my mustang. Borla won't make an h pipe for it. Good vid thanks man

Yeah why don't manufacturers make an H-pipe for the Camaro SS? I mean Corsa and Steeda has a a double h-pipe kit for the Mustang GT and they sound amazing. I bet an SS with that same pipe would sound better.

The H pipe does give more torque at the beginning which is better in my opinion and has a deeper aggressive tone! Torque is what you want off the line first then horsepower! X pipe is horsepower off the bat then torque kicks in after x pipe also is more loud and raspy! I like the H pipe myself, good choice you went with!!
Sounds amazing dude. Now I want to get mine done but I'm not sure how it would go over rolling into the underground garage at work every morning. They are already looking at me sideways for riding in npp open every day. Unrelated, why not more Fiesta ST videos? You should have some fun with that little maniac before you relegate it to winter beater. You haven't had fun driving until you've thrown a FiST into a corner with the inside rear wheel off the ground. If you have anything like the OEM tires on it you can just get stupid with that little thing and it just defies physics. In my opinion you have the best combo of cars possible for normal people money. You have scary torque and performance from the camaro but have to be responsible or get arrested or crash, and a "winter beater" that I dare you to make the tires squeal. You can can absolutely throw that thing around harder than you think possible. I had a '15 for 4 years and never managed to make the stock potenzas howl in any turn. The little bastard laughs at anything you throw at it. Did you get the blend door servo fixed under warranty?
I literally just got the warranty transferred this week. Believe me I can’t wait to make Fiesta content. I have a ton of fun in it. I only put about 150 miles on it so far. I actually made a video and forgot lol. I’ll get to it next week and beyond. I had to get the Camaro stuff out the way since most of my subscribers are here for that. Thanks for the comment. I agree. It is the best combo. High and slower speed fun. That Fiesta can MOVE too
@@QueTheChaotic Great to hear. That blend door actuator defect was inexcusable but all the Mexico built ST's had it. They should have had a recall and fixed it but at least they still have good warranty service for it. Once that's fixed, you gotta toss that thing around, it maneuvers on thought. And that Tuxedo Black might as well be a cloak of invisibility to cops, you can just hoon it without consequences. TIny black Fiesta just doesn't get their attention even if you're stage 3 and leaving rubber everywhere.

I’m thinking about doing this to my 2014 C7 I have the ARH MID Length headers with green cats, Corsa helix xpipe and Borla Atak mufflers but It still doesn’t sound deep enough or muscle sounding.

That sounds bad ass. I thought about doing something like that on mine but here in Commiefornia you can get a ticket now if your car is too loud. I hear it's $1000, so I'm going to stick with my stock NPP exhaust.

Ray Marquina it was way cheaper. $300 vs $1100. I did get a chance to hear the MRT exhaust on another car last night. His is LOUD. Mines pops more but his volume is louder. I may do the secondary cat delete later

Alena thank you much. If I ever have issues, I go to the NAPA in Farmington Hills. It’s on orchard lake south of 13 mile. They do my major repairs for me like fuel pumps and engine replacements. They’re much cheaper than a dealership and trustworthy. Also the muffler man in this video does repairs too. The other customers that were there seemed happy. That Muffler man is on Dequindre and 15 mile (Maple)

Did they cut holes to allow airflow through the middle piping ? Didn’t look like they did. But for your comment about the car feeling like it has more torque it’s because of the h-pipe.
H-pipe = more torque
X-pipe = more power

Is there much difference sound between a H pipe and dual H pipe?
I personally have never heard a double H pipe but I asked an engineer about it and he says its mainly for marketing and doesn't offer anything else
Nice information bro...does any of this work void your warranty? And what happens when you have to go through emissions in a few years? Im in IL and we (our state) are big on emissions here.

Running Low 11 Chevy SS thanks a lot! I want to track very soon. We don’t have emissions checks in Michigan so I’m not sure on that. So it’s not unclear to me if this would void the warranty. I’m told the axlebacks don’t void the warranty. And this is right next to the axlebacks. The only way the warranty could be voided is if they can prove the H pipe caused damage to the engine.

X pip for HP, H pipe for Torque. H pipe is deep and X is more raspy

H pipes actually add 20-30 horsepower low rpm. So definitely not in your head. Sounds good man. Wish I could afford one.
