When they are are caught in time especially in utero, so a person can then test themselves in their life, it doesn't mean their life is over. Cancer is not even the most painful illness to suffer, it is unfortunate, unpleasant, but now treatable and we are two years (widespread) from a blood test for screening with our family doctors. (Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto just finished development its research for its use, if you want to look it up) There is also a cancer vaccine soon available.
