You can use a plastic container with holes at the bottom to drain off excess water. You will also need to have one or two holes on the cover form egg to breathe but not too many holes to avoid dehydration.
The incubator must be moist at all time till all the eggs hatchling.

I don't understand what you meant by normal pot.
Whatever you intend to use must have holes at the bottom and the to should be properly covered not to allow water into the incubator except the water you spray on the incubator to keep it moist.

@ucheugochukwu8848 Yes. All you need to do is to boil hot water and pour on it to kill all bacteria.
You can now reuse.
Each time you want to reuse, just boil hot water to kill all bacteria.
