I honestly think that Jess isnt really funny. Yeah she kinda brings a certain dynamik to the show but thats basically it. The stuff you laugh about most are the things Nick, Schmidt and Winston do.

While Jake and Merryweather talks mostly to the audience and without making much eye contact with the guy seated in the far corner, Zooey is trying to look at him in the face. Hence, the body angle. I think
