Thats exactly what you get with the Kuros and most with the super accurate 500M.
This is probably the best representation of how good the picture is on the 500M.
This is real colors no poor flat LED light based colors as you get on TVs today.
Enjoy because this picture quality will never come back.

Whats stopping modern TV's to not be able to match the picture quality performance of the SDR image? Excuse my lack of knowledge of plasmas. I think modern can hit 100% rec 709 right? so is it something else, motion?

      @@sammy10001 *LED light*
LED light is an artificial non glowing light source that cuts the visible color spectrum just to draw less power and produce less heat.
At the cost of worse light quality.
LED light gives flat/dead looking colors mostly visible in REDs and skintones.
Plasma tvs and CRTs was using natural incandescent light.
The light that comes from these TVs contains much more visible colors and they also have higher energy colors.
colors are also more pure (more narrow spikes in the spectrum that gives less light leak and stronger colors)
its all about light quality here which i have wrote about for several years.
      Natural light gives natural colors
      Artificial light gives artificial colors.

@@sammy10001 Light Quality has nothing to do with calibration btw.
calibration is based on measuring the "white balance" of the light it doesnt measure the "quality" of the light.
even an bad LED light source can give 6500K but then colors will still look flat and off just what they do on most of todays tvs.

@@thebossnocompetition8757 So the light quality can make two perfectly calibrated to the same standard TVs look different? I have never seen it mentioned in any review, they just mention the % of rec709 they can do or something like that

@@thanossapiens reviewers doesnt compare the image to CRT or Plasma tvs. They also dont know what light quality is and how it affects colors. But Plasma TV owners today know. They see that their Plasma tvs have more natural looking colors compared to new tvs but they dont know why. This is the reason. More reviewers should start to measure light quality and compare the TVs to real reference images.
Then you will get some real answers.
But i dont know if the majority of buyers today want to hear that their new purchase doesnt match yesteryears tvs LOL.
      Its also an money issue.
Reviewers today have agendas i dont.
Here you get the real facts.
i have no problem to praise a TV like the 500M which is 14 years old as the best TV in the world even in 2022. (dont tell anyone but thats a fact ;))
i may lose some angry subcribers but i dont lose any money.
if other click bait reviewers did that all hell should break loose.

See videos on my channel (3 of them) if you want to see a ST60 vs a80k. A80k native HDR vs SDR plasma, both sets in the most accurate out of box settings. Skin tones, details, colors.... everything looks better on the plasma even SDR vs HDR. What a turd that Sony OLED was. I've now tried a C9, C2 and a80k. OLED is not an upgrade to last gen high end plasma. Its just not. HDR on OLED is worse than SDR on plasma.

    • @thebossnocompetition8757
      @thebossnocompetition8757  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Well it depends on the hdr content. Proper graded hdr content really looks good on the qd oleds. But still not the same natural picture as the Plasma tvs. There are several factors why. Natural light vs LED light. Sample and hold motion vs PWM motion. As i see it LED light that all tvs today uses gives an artificial looking image. Flat lifeless colors. Also why skintones looks more natural on the Plasma tvs is because they have energy towards infrared in the colorspectrum. LED light cuts that part out to draw less energy.
