If you're going to keep doing Derivikat songs, I highly suggest "Voices". It was written and directed by Derivikat but involved a ton of other people, it was a massive project and is absolutely insane. By far one of my favorite Dream SMP songs.

The character went insane, died and then was brought back. Wilbur is crazy in a great way. If you want a sad slightly contrasting villain song listen to Oblivion by Halfy Draws it's just as good. Or if you want another good Derivakat song I reccomend why, voices, casino royale, turn back time and welcome home.
Ain’t no crying and doomsday are great ones! The three about Karl (Turn back time, tell your story, and Write it down) are also some of my favorites. I really recommend just listening to both her albums though! All her songs and music are awesome😊

The “other guy” is Ghostbur, the Ghost of Wilbur. He appeared after Wilbur died. He was a sweet kind ghost who loved making people happy and had a lovely blue sheep named Friend. Unfortunately, Ghostbur was trapped by Dream. Dream used the revival book to revive Wilbur. “Trade off, the guys looking like a mess now” meaning Ghostbur takes place of Wilbur. Wilbur is now revived. “Oh yes I blew up the nation!” Means that when Wilbur was still alive, he was insane, he blew up his own nation that he built and begged his father to kill him. (If you want to know more about the lore, watch Sad-ist’s animations. I’ll list them in order: Warrior, The Fall, Dawn of 16th, Hog Hunt, and Final Waltz

I'd highly recommend reacting to Derivakat's Dream SMP song 'Doomsday'. It's so great! All of her stuff is. What's fun about Derivakat is that she has no genre. Like you said with 'Syndicate' and this song being so different. Derivakat can write and sing any genre like a pro!

Semi dark factoid is the use of trains through out the song is a reference to Wilbur the character in the dream amp describing his after life was that of a train station with a train that seemingly vanished and the station itself never ending and cold. Which was most likely him making reference to a song he wrote Called jubilee line which I highly recommend though I warn you it’s really sad and dark because when he wrote it he wasn’t in the best headspace…. I know that anyone in the smp fandom would know this though I didn’t know if he did and thought it was a interesting thing he should know.

Hey David the Hooman. I hope your doing well! And as well, great job with every video you make! I wanted to suggest if you could take look at a song from Demon Slayer called; Kamado Tanjiro no Uta. Overall, this song has hit my own heart in so many ways and I bet will do the same for you. The song sings about everything that the main character Tanijro has gone through. Reflecting from the begin of the season as he keep fighting no matter what to protect those who he loves. I hope you will love this song as anyone who has heard it or even those who have yet to hear this masterpiece.
Since you've already started with Derivakat, may I suggest some other songs based on the Dream SMP? I personally want to recommend An Ode to l'Manburg by Beetlebug (one of the first Dream SMP-themed songs ever made), and the song heavily inspired by it, Never Meant to Be, which was uploaded on Precious Jewel Amor's channel but is actually a collaboration of a lot of the major musicians in the Dream SMP fandom. But if you want to stay in Derivakat's area, may I suggest Ain't no Crying and In my Head? Ain't no Crying is definitely the kind of song that's meant to build hype while also showing some of the darker parts of conflict, while In my Head has a _very_ Evanescence-like feeling

Hey David the Hooman. I hope your doing well! And as well, great job with every video you make! I wanted to suggest if you could take look at a song from Demon Slayer called; Kamado Tanjiro no Uta. Overall, this song has hit my own heart in so many ways and I bet will do the same for you. The song sings about everything that the main character Tanijro has gone through. Reflecting from the begin of the season as he keep fighting no matter what to protect those who he loves. I hope you will love this song as anyone who has heard it or even those who have yet to hear this masterpiece.

Since you've already started with Derivakat, may I suggest some other songs based on the Dream SMP? I personally want to recommend An Ode to l'Manburg by Beetlebug (one of the first Dream SMP-themed songs ever made), and the song heavily inspired by it, Never Meant to Be, which was uploaded on Precious Jewel Amor's channel but is actually a collaboration of a lot of the major musicians in the Dream SMP fandom.
But if you want to stay in Derivakat's area, may I suggest Ain't no Crying and In my Head? Ain't no Crying is definitely the kind of song that's meant to build hype while also showing some of the darker parts of conflict, while In my Head has a _very_ Evanescence-like feeling
