Hi, teacher vanessa, thanks for all your videos! When it comes to British English, you taught that " be bothered" could be strange to say in US , then what about this expression, " Don't bother". When I want to say to my fr or someone not to worry or care for a certain situation things like that. Is it Ok using in Us?
@@hikate4686 I don't think so. We often use "don't sweat it" to not make worry anyone
Well..not really, dont you worry about vanessa. Just in case you don't know, she is making plenty enough teaching in TH-cam. Plus she is also selling English courses.

1. Someone tells you about changing plans
* Don’t worry about it
* No worries
* No problem
* No biggie
* Things happen(situations happens occasionally)
* Things come up. (Something happens unexpectedly)
2. Someone tells you something surprising. (Got two job offers in one day)
* What?(a positive tone voice) uplifted tone.
* No way!
* Woah, really?
* How do you feel about that?
3. Someone invites you to somewhere. Do you want to go to the park this afternoon?
* I hate to miss out, but I’m really tired today. I don’t think I can go.
* I’d love to but I’m tired.
* Sure. sounds good to me
* I get off at 2, but I can get there by 2:30.
* I can’t be bothered(British English. Don’t say in US)
4. You want to tell or ask someone something briefly.
* Hey, can I tell you something really quick?
* Holiday/weekend/interview. How did it go?
* Don’t say: we need to talk. I want to talk with you. Make someone feel really Nervous.

Hi I am Linh from Hanoi Vietnam. By teaching English for my cousin, I found your channel. Today I listened this video so I want to answer your question about how to say hate that can't come your party by Vietnamese style. Normally we will say sorry because can't come. Next we will present the reason why can't come. Then, we will emphasize how sorry to not come. Last we can talk about next meetup like a coffee or lunch. Here is how to say by Vietnamese style "I am sorry to not come your party. I have extra work so there is no free time to go out that time. I feel much sorry to not come so it had better to have a coffee sometimes."
