There's a saying that the third person observing a debate between two intellectuals gains the most insight from the conversation. This was certainly true in this scenario. Being in the audience and witnessing such an insightful discussion with so many valuable takeaways is truly inspiring. Benti to the team, please bring Bhai Maan Singh Ji on more often, the conversation was amazing with him. His curiosity sparks such beautiful tangents Satnaam Singh mentioned how Basics of Sikhi has outlived Bhai Jagraj Singh Ji, which is rare for most Sikh projects. This enduring legacy is entirely due to Bhai Jagraj Singh Ji's spiritual kamai. Many people undertake Sikh projects for their own jai jai kaar, but Bhai Jagraj Singh Ji built Basics of Sikhi selflessly for the panth and to spread the message of Sikhi. By laying the foundation through haathi seva and connecting with akaal purakh waheguru, your projects too can flourish beyond your physical form.
You are all so young yet full of knowledge and Love for Sikhi. I am feeling so blessed just watching this podcast. Shabaash.. Bravo. Keep it up. You are the future.
Dhan Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Always Chardikala veer ji🌼 Best wishes for your future indures. Salute to Bhai Jagraj Singh for inspiring us on a daily basis and a Hero who is still inspiring us for his Jasba and knowledge. ..Arm yourself with knowledge 🙏
This should be our number one priority, having an ambition, a cause. The honour of our ancestor’s blood depends on us, the living, because it was spilled for a cause. We are dishonouring our history our martyrs by abandoning their cause, the dharam.
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh. Thank you for bringing Satnam Singh. I bought the book after this podcast. Looking forward to reading it. Bos TV brothers keep up the great work in keeping us informed on new sources of knowledge!
Totally in agreement the notion of Guru Sahib simply being a warrior is predominantly at the forefront of minds, which is of course incorrect. They were the most complete being in history in every respect. Bhai Pinderpal Singh Jee says there are 4 types of Bir captures in Hindu texts, Guru Gobind Singh encapsulates all in totality and he added a couple more of which I can only recall Prem Bir, will update when my old brain fires up again :) Dharam Bir Vidya Bir Prem Bir Yudh Bir Soor Bir Dhan Bir

Is there any digital version of the book available on Amazon etc. Also, how can we support Giani Jeevanpal Singh ji. They are doing great seva. Are they part of any organisation or just doing seva on individual level.
Giani Jivanpal singh does seva with various organisations, i.e. Nihung Santhia, SGGS Academy, Pothi Seva and others, if you would like to support the Gurmukh Series directly you can at: bit.ly/Gurmukhseries
Question - did Bhai Satnam Singh take pictures of the manuscripts of all the granths he looked at which were produced in the darbar? Because that would be incredible, them being published at some point would be great 🙏🙏🙏
Check out my other talks here on TH-cam titled 'Satnam Singh Sikh Intelectual History' wherein you can see some images from the manuscripts. Kind regards, Satnam
I am a White, Floridan Sikh, very alone in my state, wherein liberals and conservative are constantly at war with each other and asking me to take sides. My only side is the Truth, the Guru. It's hard to find a place to belong here, but I would hate to leave my homeland. I have tried building a Sangat, but there are no Sikh close to me. I want to ask the Khalsa or the Takhat for aid, but how?
What do you mean…It’s worth its weight in gold… why shouldn’t it be expensive ? Effort put into this book is tremendous, so I think it being expensive sets the right standard as it should be..

Why is the book so expensive
How much is it
Academic publishing
It is an academic book so primarily targeting universities and libraries, not average readers.
What do you mean…It’s worth its weight in gold… why shouldn’t it be expensive ?
Effort put into this book is tremendous, so I think it being expensive sets the right standard as it should be..
These are the best colonizers at one point
@BasicsofSikhiTV where can we get the nanak prakash translation
Thanks!
