- As of December 07 2015, the last part of the puzzle is no longer required for the book quest. You will only need it for the 3man instance.

You will need to run this instance to complete VOL II Book 8, The Scourge of Khâzad-Dum : A Relic in Lumul-Nar. I'm running it solo and not concerning myself with the fighting. This walkthrough is about the mirrors only. - เกม

I just completed the solo instance by destroying the gift which opened up the way through the webbing to the boss.
This was without altering the mirrors in this final part.
I had no problems completing it this way. The mirrors in the final part used to drive me insane so was happy about that.......

+Sympatico thanks for the info. I went to validate that and found that my lvl 100 hunter can no longer take the Replay scenario at all. However, I found this in the update posts from December 2015:

the last mirror didnt reflect to the big lens... i follow your steps but it doesnt reflect :(
it works for the other 3 lights :)
did you check whether it was being darkened up by a defiler? This seems to be quite a regular occurrence, as it has happened to nearly all my characters.

But my first time i forgot to destory the gift and went strait to killing the main boss then realized i coulld not get back up so i came back in to destroy then the quest advanced to kill the boss wich i had already done. so i had to reset and do over. Unless there is somthing im missing that can be done about this, anyone reading this make shure u do it in the right order. destroy gift then kill boss
No that is quite true, you cannot get away from the boss platform other than leaving the instance, so it is very important to destroy the gift first. Thanks for pointing that out!
Here i'm in 2021. after over 10 hours i almoust deleted thegame if i do not find your video. it's one of the most Stupid Quests ever,,
