Thank you for the support! I'm glad that I could help and am currently not sure if I will have more mazda videos available later on because I currently don't have access to their inventory anymore. Maybe someday again
We bought a 2025 CX-50 Meridian about a month ago. The are A LOT of settings hidden in the menus. Sometimes there is a little icon on the left for menu that prompts to press down on the selector wheel. Sometimes you need to move the selector wheel to the right or left to get to the menu for adjusting things (hello reordering of favorites). The only thing I really miss is dedicated radio preset buttons and mode buttons (FM/AM/XM/Bluetooth). I don't use Apply Carplay or Android Auto because I don't want them selling my driving data.
as a developer I want to tell you that your driving data is going to their servers anyways and probably whatever you talk on the vehicle because your car has cell phone connection all the time + GPS
@mrld3005 I guess I'll have to find a way to break it then. I've heard this can be done on the new tundra's by installing a signal attenuator inline with the cell phone antenna cable.
@@The_Opinion_of_Matt you can but when you go to the dealer for updates or oil service we can also download all the data, the only way is to remove the GPS and wireless devices and still they are able to track your driving habits. They use your driving so they can track how many times you visit X store, what days you put gas, conversations for targeted marketing etc.
You're super welcome and congratulations on your new Mazda! If you like to go above and beyond to truly help me out. You can mention (Crazy Honda Chris) in a five-star google review. Go to vehicle settings, select exterior lighting, uncheck the high beam control system (HBC). This will permanently disable auto high beams Or temporary option, on top of the turn signal lever press the button at the very tip to disable auto high beams.
2024 cx50 turbo. The navigation volume got set to mute. How do i unmute it? Dont tell me to wait until the navigation talks and turn up the volume, because it is muted you cant here anything on nav
I would try the same volume button for the radio, which mutes the radio when pushed. It works for the Hondas while using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The rear liftgate will not open unless the car is turned off. Its so annoying, when the car is on and i press the button inside the car for the rear liftgate to open, it wont do it. I have to shut it off and THEN it will open when pressing the button
There is! I just learned it buying a new key 🔑 blade for my key fob. Slightly open up the handle and keyhole is hiding inside (right side, inside the handle)
a window deflector for the sun is a must for this car, question whats the best way to clean the dashboard its like a rubber microfiber dont wipe across it very good wondering how anyone else cleans it????
Daytime running lights are stupid. So many people at night don’t have their lights on when you’re behind them. They don’t know since they see headlights on the street ahead of them.
This is why if people have auto headlights on their light stalk they should always keep it on and they don’t have to worry about remembering to turn on the darned lights! I see so many people driving with just their daytime running lights at night and their lights in the back aren’t on either!😜
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 Yeah, I did. There are many you can't disable, particularly with regard to the keylessness and headlights. Never buying a keyless car again. :)
@Klautos Me and my wife are in our fifties and we are a little baffled, but thank God for all the videos to help us along. We are learning a couple of new things everyday. It's awesome. Be patient and it will come together.
Thanks for these tips. I didn’t know any of it. Keep them coming for cx-50. I just got this car and I love it.

Thanks 😊 I'm hitting the books hard
Why I don’t have it on cx50😢, is it only for US?
@@FadyKassar what is it you don’t have?

Awesome video, major help with the new ride.
Glad to hear it!
Is there a way to turn off the automatic high beams and put them on manually when needed?
Go to vehicle settings, select exterior lighting, uncheck the high beam control system (HBC). This will permanently disable auto high beams
Or temporary option, on top of the turn signal lever press the button at the very tip to disable auto high beams.
Great information.

I like that one can disable the day time running lights, for some cars you have to remove the fuse
@AkiraKurasawa_ that's true.
@CrazyHondaChris-H18 just bought a cx-50 and applied most of these tips 👌 thanks
Why do DRLs bother people so much? It’s not like you will burn out bulbs anymore.

@@avegoodyear5930honestly i like drls too. if there's inclement weather like light rain not a storm, i don't need worry about turning on headlights

No problem! If you don't mind me asking, which color did you end up getting?

Have you tried pressing and holding for a moment? just sure if this would help or not.
Park, hit unlock door switch, press and hold rear gate lift button
I don't see a keyhole in the driver side handle. What happens in an emergency when your battery is dead?
There should be a keyhole
There is! I just learned it buying a new key 🔑 blade for my key fob. Slightly open up the handle and keyhole is hiding inside (right side, inside the handle)
Cx50 no garage door programming?
Yes, mine does in P+
Thanks for watching
Is there a way to turn off fake engine sound?
I no longer have access to Mazda inventory but will keep this up so if anyone knows, they may share
Hum thanks for those

Makes sense I suppose for more northern gloomy places. I don't live in one of those, so I'm glad they can be turned off.
You can thank the government and for the bs I third brake light
I have a CX-50 and I absolutely HATE all the electronic BS they make you deal with.
