WHO AM I?
My name is Marijna van Mill, I am 19 years old and from the Netherlands.
Since I was 12 years old I am collecting reborn dolls,
and since 2021 I paint them myself!
On this channel I make videos about reborns and everything around that subject.
And sometimes there might pop on a video about my personal life or something just something totally different.
WHAT ARE REBORNS?
Reborns are hyper realistic dolls created by artists.
First there is a really long process of making the kit, that process is called sculpting. Sculpting is done by a sculpter.
After the sculpt is completed it goes to a factory where they'll make vinyl kits out of it.
When the kits are produced, they go to a artist like me.
We buy the kits off of a (legit) website, an dthey get sended to us.
Once we recieve the kit, we start painting it with special made reborn paint.
After a really long process the painting is done an dit time to get hair.
Sometimes they can get painted hair, but sometimes rooted.
Rooting hair means ''piercing'' every hair into the head 1-2 hairs per stab with a special made ''rooting needle''.
After all that is done we assemble the limbs and the head to a cloth body and the reborn dolls is born!
They are artwork, just as much as a van Gogh is art.
Thats why these dolls are so expensiv!

U dont need a work studio lol if u need a house that bad u wld settle....we have 5 kids and we have lived in tiny 3 bedroom homes at times....when we needed. Mist reborn artist dont have their own studios they do it in their living rooms or wherever

thats impressiv, but first of all you don't know the exact situation we're in.
Second we found a good home, so now I'm able to have my own work studio.
But if we would've found a smaller home I couldn't, but that would've been okay to.
It's just that God has provited us with this new house (out of no where) and I am super glad and gratefull that I can have my own studio now.😊
