Centurion was a World War Two tank. Originally classified as a Cruiser Tank, it missed the European Theater of Operations by days. Was never shipped to fight Imperial Japan. But the Centurion did go into action in Korea in 1950-1953. It was found to have an excellent gun stabilizer and could just about go anywhere. On top of that, every AT weapon that the Communists could bring to bear, failed against the armor of the Centurion.
After the Korean War Phrase, it went on to serve with distinction. One Centurion in Australian service, a Mark III K-Type Command Centurion Tank even saw action in Vietnam with the Australian force sent there. What makes that Centurion unique, is that it is probably the only tank to ever be used in a Nuclear Test and be driven off the range and put back into regular service for the next 20 years.
When the Australians phased the Centurions out, the Atomic Tank was chosen to be a barracks sentry and sits out front of an important barracks in Australia to this day.
The South Africans still use the Centurion, modified locally into the Olifant and in current service as the Olifant Mk.II, to this day. Fully modernized, it is especially mine proof compared to other tanks.
Overall, the Centurion put in about 40 years, almost 50 years of continious service with dozens of countries and in 13 Marks, plus variants such as the Olifant and the Israeli Sho't, also known as the Shot Kal in the West.

I would love to get this tank. The Centurion tank formed the backbone of the Swedish tank forces for about 40 years until they were gradually replaced in the 1990's by the German Leopard 2(The last Centurions were phased out in 2000). When I was a kid the Centurions were still around and I think my dad might have driven them when he did his military service.
I have driven one, but just a small distance onto our transport trucks. Then we took them to the scrapyard and watched the gun barrels being cut off. Oh, the painful memories :'(

Yeah that is kind of sad, but I understand we can't just keep them all out of sentiment. That'd be a bit silly, but it always hurts a bit to scrap a trusted old vehicle even though you have to.
I hope you enjoy this review of "old faithful" :)

Quicky i have a question? whats the difference between spaced armour and all the other kinds of armour..? as well as i have a big oops (sorta) on wot replays if you wana talk about a platoon with failure :3
***** HE, HEAT and HESH "explode" on first contact. Because there is still armor behind the spaced armor (hence the name there is space in between the armor) this means HEAT doesn't do any damage if hits spaced armor since it doesn't have splash damage and HESH and HE is greatly reduced because it can never penetrate and the explosion is at a distance from the "real" armor, HE/HESH damage decreases with the distance.
In regards to the gun the DPM of the 20 pdr is nice however because it is such low alpha it does't have that kind of deterring factor if you were to be defending for example and also because of the price of the shells in the 20 pdr it works out cheaper to run a 105mm if you hit your shot as for every two shots you fire out of the 20 pdr you loose about 1300 credits while each 105 shot does around 1100. Generally i would prefer the 105 due to the reliability of the penetration and the damage is very nice as well!
The "good" 20pdr (type b barrel) on the 7/1 is not the one you unlock on the cent 1 (type a)
SisarothSC
HE/SH hitting spaced armor like tracks do only splash damage. HEAT is different, when hitting spaced armor it's effectiveness depends on distance between point of impact and hull armor on path of trajectory. After reduction of space armor thickness every 10cm cuts 5% pen of HEAT jet stream so one meter equals 50%. That's why angled or wide tracks are great eating HEAT. In case of gun mantlets protection comes pretty much just from combined thickness as mantlet is very close to actual armor. Usually there's quite large 0 armor hole for gun behind mantlet while overlapping "double armor" exists only in outer parts of mantlet. HEAT dont get any normalization, it's less effective dealing heavily angled plates.
Nice review once again, but pls QB, please use tank inspector. Its so much better than WOT tank viewer XD
This and the Comet are why I have started grinding the British medium line. Something about them that I really enjoy.
My favourite tank in game. The turret, 105mm and the depression makes it for the sluggish topspeed and hullarmor. Love it more than the fv4202
Thank God for quicky baby if it wasn't for this video I'd still be struggling with the centurion 7/1
Centurion 7/1 is one of my favourites tier IX in the game. I already have a tier X medium but i like Centurion more than FV.
Im using 105mm gun just because of that amazing penetration. I like to play peek-a-boo just to take hp from my enemies not loosing my own and that alpha dmg helps a lot.
Very good review as always :)
I love my Centurion 7/1. It's a good looking tank, with nice punch in the gun.
The 105 is a VERY welcome upgrade. All the lower brit mediums have guns that do low alpha.. (Death by a thousand Cuts!) and people don't "feel" they are in any threat... But with the 105mm.... Shoot a tank for 400dmg..... he's gonna wanna take you seriously. I love my Centurion. great Review QB.
Getting the tank soon. Looking forward to have fun in it. I really like how centurion 7/1 does not have a painful grinding process because 20pdr has great pen already.
Thank you for the great review! I have played the Cent 7/1 for a long time and it is absolutely my favorite tank in the game.
Love my Cent 7/1 was my first Tier IX... and I find it to be a fantastic tank provided you keep your distance and fight on your terms long range is best... Speed wise is not too much of a problem as going up hill's you can out run a lot of tanks as you maintain a better speed. Also was the first tank I got my Radley Walters in as well after having a great fight with 4 other tanks... granted 2 made mistakes and 1 was an an AMX 50-120 which fired 2 shell's that bounced of my upper plate and then tried to pull back to reload. Nice review as well...
I for one agree with you, Sir. I am in love with my Centurion 7/1. It's top speed is decent... I love the turret armor and the gun depression is good, but it's the gun that truly takes the cake. the 105mm Royale Ordnance. The turret also gives the impressive hull down capability, something which the Leo could not give. I just feel as if the Centurion needs a slight buff in terms of gun reload speed. But right now, for me, it is a bit OP. I just feel so comfortable using it even though there are like a full team of tier 10s on the enemy team. I would rather have a Centurion than an FV4202 to be honest. xD It is by far my favorite tank. And whenever I see one on the enemy team, I always strive to take it out cause it is just a huge threat to any tank in the battlefield. And it is indeed faithful, my good old Centurion 7/1 is just so reliable and it never ceases to amaze me. I even bounce gold shells from WTs with it xD
Quicky, you forget to add type 61s 90 mm gun in that DPM table. It has monstrous 2880 dpm.
***** Because with top turret it is much better. You are talking about values with stock turret . I am not saying that it is better than 105, it is alternative, just like 20 pounder on Cent.
I gotta say. Im in love with my Centurion mk 7/1 mounting the 105mm gun. "Hit and Run" strikes agian and strikes hard. :3
Great video, thanks. And a great tank. I just managed a Radley Walters in mine yesterday with the stock gun in a tier 10 game so will certainly be uploading that one to my channel! Looking forward to getting the 105 though.
Love mine, I use the TierX gun on it & it's brilliant, & now it's well worth going for the Fv4202, it's a beast now they've buffed the RoF
Worth noting that the HD model did some important things to the Cent's armour scheme. First of all, it uniformly lost thickness on the turret - a minor issue really. The more important thing is that it gained better slope on the turret roof and glacis plate in exchange for a smaller and thinner mantlet, making it significantly easier to hit the thinner, flatter turret face around it and degrading the armour status of the turret from "bullshittium at any range" to "good at trolling bad shots from a distance".
Also on a tank with 410m base view range, I cannot recommend optics enough. Optics-equipped Cent 7 with good crew means 473 effective view range. I outspot badly-crewed Fattons on the regular. Vision is life, especially on the hellhole that is NA West where you are the team and will need that view range to try and carry.
+rossmum Wouldn't optics take it to 451? Since optics are 10% increase
oOBlackFateOo 473 is including the boost from Situational Awareness and Recon skills.
Whoops, valid point.
British mediums, i love all of them, and the Cent 7/1 probably one of the best!
Nice review QB as always, Informative, charming and relevant. And it does make me jealous of my buddy Andreas with his Brit tanks. They seem to be really good between 8-10 levels (although their TDs from 5-7th lv make up for their weaker (clumsy Churchills) tanks at those levels). And like you I hate derps and inconsistent guns. Not using gold ammo means it's the guns I look at first.
Which is why I chose to do German tanks. While my son wanted to do Russians. Still I like the look of those top lv Brits!
i got to say, this tank is the most modern looking in the game, the large wheels, turret about as wide as the hull, and the general look just makes it look so much newer then you'd think
The good old Centurion is often cited as the first general purpose MBT and a bridge-gap between 2nd and 3rd generation tanks. variations were in use for many decades to come.
This tank has seen quite a bit of combat as well throughout the Korean war and most notably a varient fought in the Yom Kippur war of 1973.
Good stuff, been struggling with the Centurion 1, but this one fixes the main issue, the low alpha gin 😉
14:35 the t-54 would've been able to go through the TigerII's turret as well, as the TigerII was using the stock turret.
QuickyBabyTV Why do you not use Tank Inspector? There you can show armor characteristic much better.
Imo one of the best tanks in the game. [after you get it fully upgraded]
It's just good with the 20 pounder.
Wonderful tank
The 7/1 is the tank in my garage that I have the best stats with, I think it's an amazing vehicle, the 105mm allows you to be a complete power house in every single match-up, it's such a great support vehicle capable of penetrating any tank in the game. Also it has the ridiculous combination of turret armor and gun depression, fantastic tank! worth mentioning though that it takes forever to unlock all modules, the top engine is 45k exp and the 105mm is 63k or something. Without the top engine the tank is slow as hell
Centurion for sure my favorite tier 9 medium :) My 2 favorite things in a tank (Gun Depression and armor) are on this thing! The only thing I actually like more then this is the St-I! Those 2 are beasts on the battlefield :)
Please keep in mind, that a 7/1's turret armor changed drastically, when it turned into HD. The middle of the gun mantlet was 200 mm, now it's 152, plus the gun mantlet got much smaller.
12:40 - 12:50
"I do some spins in anger of myself"
*I lol'd hard on that one!*
Cent 7/1. Love this tank. Love it so much if they slapped few more hit points on it and increased RoF I would take it has the new tier10. No questions asked
I absolutely love this tank even though i'm unable to use it as inteligently as you do. Even though my average damage and XP in it is 'meh', the grind for Prius is much easier than it was for M103 or T110E5. I only wish it had better RoF...
one of the sexiest tanks in wot in my opinion, i will definitely try to get it as soon as possible
Already got it? If you have the Centurion 1, wanna play it with me? I need help with it... xD
Hey quickybaby! I used to have a 7/1 but I sold it very recently cause I already have the teir 10 version the fv4202. The 7/1 wasn't a bad tank I just like the 4202 a little bit better.
Thanks quicky baby for reviewing my future tier 9 tank.
I just got the game and working on the British MEDUIM tanks.
So far I have the cruiser iv :P
Great vid as always!
Good luck, I love mine, but until you have experience with the comet it's hard to use
TheForgottenBoss comet is hard to use ? Lel....
why you put with mayus a badly written word?
youll love the 7/1. I was a M46 lover now that I have got the 7/1 I hardly use the M46. Also I run the 20 pdr not the 105mm. the aim time fast shoots and the dpm for me is a win. Yeah dmg is low but your fire almost 3 rounds of 20 pdr for 1 105mm.
White Chocolate Yeah pretty much what i have done too. First Tier X was my M48. Loved it but liked the M46 way more. Sold M48 and keep playing M46. Now I´ve researched the British Medium line to Tier X and have hardly ever used the M46 again.
"A nightmare to get through" while referring to the hull armor... Not sure if your Centurion somehow differs from mine but for me the hull armor is made out of paper and hope, don't bounce anything off it. Turret isn't great either as most know where to shoot it now. Good review QB, keep it up
Hey QB, just wanted to say that I love your vids. You and Jingles make WoT fun (and although I play on Xbox because I can't afford a nice PC like you guys) you are both epic. Jingles' vids are more funny, but whereas yours are more serious, they ain't dingy and boring.
Learned a lot from you both, so just wanted to say thanks for that.
Happy tanking
I think the highest potential damage recieved in a cent 1 for me is 5000 going hull down on the same map as the first replay
I love the British tanks, a combination of Armor (most of the time), Accuracy and Rate of Fire.
If you rammed that t34 it would have been a Pool's Medal.
Strong turret and great gun depression do make up for all the deficiencies. It has something to offer and it's not just an average Joe. Great games as usual.
Holy cow qb great timing for the review/guide just bought it today :)
Make a T1 Cunningham Review :D
12:43 made me LOL for like 5 minutes straight! Something about seeing other ppl rage amuses me :D
I derp what feels like 70% of my shots in my Centurion I that way, I know that feeling of sheer frustration pretty well. Especially when you see replays of people that manage to hit and pen the most improbable of long range snapshots and you can't hit the broad side of a barn from the inside while fully aimed because... reasons? I so want to perform well in the Centurion, yet I keep on sucking no matter how hard I try... ;-(
HerrRoehrich lololol
Could you also do a quick video of the 20-pounder gun on the centurion?
I would really like to see the difference between the 20pounder and the105!
Did you watch the video until the very end???
yes and yes...
***** Play hull down ridge warfare and you'll be fine. Use GOLD for the heavies in Tier 9 and 10. Better yet...simply avoid the Tier 10 heavy armor or be very selective in your shots with these tgts.
Nice review, I have the Centurion 1 unlocked, just have to grind some credits to get it, then I will be moving on to the 7/1. I am an all round tank player (I play all nations all lines) but I LOVVVVVVVEEEEE abusing gun depression and punishing people on terrain. This tank is screaming my name.
Nice vid QB. Could you possibly do a review on the Centurion Mk 1 please? I've watched Jingles' and Foch's reviews on it but they are outdated.
would have been nice to have some gameplay with the 20 pounder but still an excellent review as usual!
I never really though about this tank, but now I definetly want it! :o Thanks QB! :)
Just elited my 7/1 two days ago. Definitely enjoyed it and look forward to the 4202 even more.
I dont enjoy the fv4202 as much as the cent 7/1. The armor on the fv will troll other tanks and it will troll you. Oh and arty love shooting at fv just as a heads up. It needs a dam gun mantle, but dont get me wrong it is a great tank.
Yeah FV4202 is more agile, it has better DPM but the turret is worse than on centurions.....you have to be either long range sniper or support and let your team mates take a hit and then shot. But FV4202 will be changed for Action X centurion in 2015 so hopefully it will have better turret armor :)
Well ,I used to love my Centurion 7/1 but now ,I enjoy my my FV4202 more than the 7/1 and I'll tell you why. Back in the days ( 2-3 months ago) everyone was playing Tank Destroyers ,and with 10 seconds reload on the 7/1 you could dominate them very easy , but since I started playing again like 1 week ago , most of my games in the centurion 7/1 are tier 10 games with 4-5 batchats in the enemy team and 4-5 soviet tier 10 mediums :P with 10s reload you are just going to get dominated. Still ,after 447 battles in the centurion 7/1 ,I still think it is a great tank and I enjoy playing it .
Cpt . Speirs There are only so many mediums at the moment, because of that medium mission ;) I think afterwards people will playing heavy tanks and TDs again ;)
ESSOKAYmusic Yeah ,I noticed it. At the moment after I complete my mission I just platoon 2 T110E5s and 1 IS7 and stomp those medium tanks :P.
You should do a new review with the new buffs to the Centurion 7/1 since 9.17.1 patch.
The Centurion 7/1, it's like 'driving velvet' everything is so smooth! Great tank great review. Not that I've watched it yet lol Better do that now :)
Quickybaby can i suggest that you show us the games especially for tanks with special playing styles when for example the guns change, usually it doesnt impact the tank much but for the centurion 7/1 wouldnt the 20 pdr affect the choice of gameplay which you have stated in the review , however providing us with actual gameplay would show us more about the tank . Granted it could take more effort to do so, doing so provides me who is on the centurion mk1 with more information about should I free XP to the 105 mm
I didn't really like that the two replays were from 2 different versions of the tank. The first one was from before the HD remodel, the second - after. The mantlet on the newer version is smaller and the turret armor is thinner. However, the upper glacis and turret top are at better angles on the new version and this is VERY important when fighting other tanks 1v1. This gives it better than/as good as upper hull protection as the T-54.
Hello QB :D, now im really looking forward for this one. Now i have painfull stock Centurion Mk.1. Cant wait getting one Cent 7/1 :D, that 105mm gun is really awesome and once i tried it at the test server i fell in love :D. If u liked the Centurion 1, will u make review on it please? btw continue making great videos for WoT community :D
Also a main problem = Moving the tank makes the reticle going nutz.
EDIT: Bia + vents & GLD kinda fixes the gun handling.
1stWarlord -- GLD?
I'll be happy to use the 20pdr type b barrel on the 7/1 as the type a on my centy I is pretty good even in tier 10 games
Man I remember these days. Don't play wot anymore. Left it for War thunder in 2015, never coming back.
I've just switched back to the B Barrel and having a lot more fun with the rate of fire on it ;)
QB pls do another review on this tank since it has been buffed recently
QB could you possibly show us a back to back games of the 20 pdr and the 105 showing us the different types of game play the guns influence
Reading off stats is not theory crafting by the way.
have not long bought this tank still working on doing all the mods on still an awsome tank even tho i suk in it
Quicky, the type 61 with the upgraded turret has a 12 rof with its 90mm
like the British attitude"hold the position or die trying".
Hi QB thank you for the Centurion 7/1 review, can we also have a E50 and E50M review Plz.
RIP Centurion 7/1 turret. It used to be a beast.
when u bounced off the leo 1 twice in a row I WAS LAUGHING SAYING TO MY SELF "ITS NOT JUST ME" yesterday I bounced on a leo pta with my t54 3 times in a row
Weird, i was really hoping earlier today that you would do a new review of this tank, since i just got it and your old review is a year old, and then suddenly i see this. We must think the same, it's because we have the same first name...
QB, would you recommend grinding out some more free XP for the second turret+gun, or use the stock gun to grind out the second one?
first gun has same pen as second, should be good enough
I sold my Centurion Mk. 7/1 today.
Reason: needing money to buy some tanks and im actually failing on it like hell. Also i got an E75, great T9 tank.
QB, i currently have the Cent 1 (not fully developed) and i'm LOVING IT... is the 7/1 different enough to make it worth it to own both (not only when comparing the 1 to the 7/1 but also how it fares against it's opposition) ?
I had a Leopard PT A with the same gun, and I like more to be in a game where more tier Xs and IXs than where more lower tier tanks becouse the gun performance and the paper armor, which will penetrated by the lower tier tanks anyways, but they will focus you. Not like in a tier X game
Can you do a quick tank review on the t110e3? The machine gun cupola on the top is not actually a weak point.
If only it was 8months earlier haha amazing tank tough. Prob my fav along with the jagdtiger and the cromwell
OMG Quicky! You have the same cushions as me. I've never met anyone else with them :D
Personally, I would say that the Centurion is a heavy tank.
I love to move up and support my heavies, and it's armor when angled/hull down is absolutely troll.
I would say that the Centurion is more of a heavy tank than the Conqueror is, partly because of its "effective" armor. Yea, it's armor isn't great. But the engine has oomph. It doesn't have any trouble in short distances, and it can move forward, put a shot out, and back up like you wouldn't believe.
Finally, those big tracks. The tracks are one of the most troll parts of the tank; they just love to absorb incoming fire, and so you CAN, although this is generally only for lower tiered targets, sidescrape in an "American" sidescrape style, where you hide your frontal hull and only show your tracks. Now, higher pen guns like say that of a JagTiger usually will just punish you if you try something that stupid, but tank guns like an IS-3s or a Tiger IIs 105 will easily be absorbed.
And, if you have a 100% repair crew, those tracks are back up in 4, 5 seconds. Very fast track repair speed, which generally means: pop tracks out, tracks take shot, tracks repair in 5 seconds and you get to fire a shot at the enemy tank, who is most likely still reloading.
Now, the Centurion has a weakness, and that was highlighted by Quickybaby. It does not do well in 1 v 1 engagements where people can out DPM it. You have to find a position to hold/pivot from, and control the engagement. It certainly helps to have a teammate with you in this case, as the Centurion can easily hold a position as long as it has a bit of support to compensate for that low DPM. If you have all of those things, than like QB said, it is very consistent, and that's why I like this tank. It is why it is my most played tank, and it is why it is my favorite tank in the game.
Anyway.
Hey QB can you pls make a review of the E-50M and IS-4. :) I don't see this tanks much often in the game.
Ty QB for the review and i agree with you. =^_^=
Here is how i lock on the Centurion 7/1:
Love the Centurion 7/1 have on of my best games in it and i have a constant good profaneness in it has well.
Am mostly using the top gun on it and find that am doing around 3k and 4k dam with it eats battle.
Have to say that it is not many oder tanks that i have play so fare that make me do so consistent on dam.
I use it mostly hole down or at ridge line.
Could you do some American Medium Mid to Mid-High Tier reviews QB? Like a Sherman E-8 or Pershing.
when are you going to review the sherman jumbo?
I got this on the test server. First game: top gun mastery badge :)
The disappointing thing about that 105 cannon is that it forces you play as a support or a sniper cause it's difficult to out trade enemies with it
@cmstront
The ONLY difference between HE and HESH is that HESH has got higher penetration.
Nice review tho... I wish one day a review of IS7 and Patton (the tier 10 one) was released :p Cheers!
Looks like a quiet old replay, since Centurion doesn't seem to be in HD yet.
and it had the armored turret at that time :/
forgot the crew skills! It should be pretty obvious to most players by now though what crew skills to use on pretty much any medium.
I do have a question though. Having played the tier 8-10 brit heavies, how is the centurion ammo rack? It feels very prone to damage on the heavies, which uses a similar chassis layout.
That 105mm gun was the NATO standard well in the 1980s and is STILL a viable tank gun with modern ammo. No wonder it can wreck face in game.
I'm still waiting for WoT to introduce upgraded T-72s.
I'm still saving money for Mammoth tank. I'm sure it will be tier 6 premium.
Theres no chance of the T-72 being introduced, wargaming are never going to put in smoothbore guns or tanks with composite armor
ThatOtherGuy What makes you say they'll never put in smooth bore guns?
ThatOtherGuy t-72 without added armour probably isn't composite , smooth bore guns don't necessarily have better pen than rifled , and since it is a game they can model it to whatever they want.
ec1888cfc Modeling the amour shouldn't be that hard. Granted the millimeters of steel equivalent would be wicked high but then if it's all Tier 11 things should balance out.
QB, why don't u use tank inspector? imo its better than tank viewer
Wish you had shown a replay using the 20-Pounder. I know you sung its praises on its much much higher DPM, aim time, and such and i think it would help people to see both sides of the argument. Because i have found that the 105mm isn't always the best (ex. That shot you couldn't take on the IS-3 in the first replay because the reload time was just too slow), but thats just my two cents :)
Check out his other videos I think there are two with the 20 lb.
I usually pick the 105 because of the penetration and higher muzzle velocity, making it better suited for long range engagements and facing heavily armored tanks.
From the other side of that argument, I know when I get hit for any less than 293 (105's min roll) from a Cent that I can happily go push his face in and there's little to nothing that he can do about it. 230 alpha doesn't cut it at T9 and will not cow a heavy or even another medium from rushing you. 390 makes them think twice, especially when they know it probably won't bounce.
Just watched this and it's now 2018 lol what a difference
So many rather nice matchups.
It would be really awesome Quickybaby if you put where the first gameplay starts because I watch the first 5 mins of the garage review and then skip to the gameplay...just a suggestion.
When do you live stream Quick????
Well, this is one year later, but in blitz the 7/1 gets 5.69 rpm, the PTA gets about 5.29 rpm, and the M46 and Type 61 I think get 6.8 rpm but with worse pen, and well much better rpm with the T54, so it really isn't that bad in blitz.
only 20k away from this tank, can't wait!
the gun mantlet can be penetrated by every tank at tier 8 and above
What mods do you use for the Tank identification ( on the mini map ) and the spotting icon ?
Can you please Give a review on the ELC i have one i want to learn how to get even better cause QB is actually good at the game unlike most of the players i find myself playing with in wot
I will get some flak for this, but I liked the old Cent model more than the HD one. Plus it got its turret armor nerfed along with it.
I feel like the E50M is also facing some problems. Multiple Tier X mediums have been added or buffed recently, and the E50M is starting to fall behind.
That would be the german medium with
150mm heavily sloped upper front and cupola, 100mm lower front, 185mm turret front, 80mm everywhere else.
0.3 accuracy and 2.1 aimtime on a L7 clone
AND still has almost 20hp/ton
I can see how it suffers being a high mobility sniper with really good armour
Wait, no I can't.
Gyronamics Have you seen it's DPM compared to the other Tier X mediums. I'm not saying it's bad, but at the rate it's going, it won't be as competitive as it is now.
I am regretting everyday for selling my Cent 7/1 to raise money for the fv4202...
the FV4202, even with the recent DPM buff does not come close to the cent 7/1. The gigantic weak spot on the turret hurts a lot while the cent 7/1 turret absorbs damage for you...
I got this tank right after I watched Valley of Tears... Where there's a scene where 3 Israeli Centurions wiped out an entire Syrian armored division for an entire afternoon...
