I was playing this game with my friends, reliving the old arcade days, but after it all cleared, I had one thought: I cannot WAIT for Andre to play this, and GOD I hope he at least gives us a review. Instead, we get over an hour of fun-ass gameplay with commentary. He SPOILS us slobs here on TH-cam, sir.
I noticed if you stay as one character in story mode it gets easier as your character levels up. Constantly switching characters definitely upped the difficulty. Where was Pat Fraley? He did a ton of characters including Krang, and he’s still around.
On that Alienware laptop, I think the 11 hours of gameplay requires more processing power than playing TH-cam videos. Which means, we can watch this channel for many more hours! Cowabanga, great game playing!!
While I appreciate the editing that shows himself getting dunked on, repeatedly, by the charging attacks of the rock soldiers... the fact that he realizes "Oh yeah, I can dodge roll", but then doesn't bother doing it afterwards and yes, his pain is self-inflicted and he deserves to be forced into replaying the stage over and over. That said, his genuine enthusiasm for this game and its references held me through to the end of this second part!
If you want more than enough playable TMNT characters from the 1987 cartoon, look no further than the fan game Rescue Palooza. I wouldn't say it's better than Shredder's Revenge, but in terms of the playable characters, you've got pretty much everyone from the first seven seasons.
I was wondering why they didn't include Granitor in the Technodrome redux level. Other Villians I'd like to see are Mutagen Man, Lord Dregg, The Purple Dragon's Hun, and Karai I'd love to see Usagi Yojimbo The Fugitoid, and Agent Bishop as fighters.

It's only slightly "harder" on Switch only because of the frame drops. Game plays the same on all systems. Unless you're referring to playing one pc with mouse and keyboard as opposed to a console controller but there are plenty compatible controllers for pc.

Speaking of Cam Clarke, if you ever felt like randomly playing Smash, Male Corrin is voiced by him, too. And he's Liquid Snake in Metal Gear Solid, those two are the other non-Leo roles I know him for.
Cool game. It's like a renaissance of beat 'em up games. At a recent steam festival, I played the demo of another potentially good game - Arnold Bounty Hunter. It looks more like the first Battletoads - there are not only fights, but also various adventures with platforming, hydrocycles. It also looks interesting. I liked the demo.
Cause that ending we should be able to play as the Punk Frogs. Just saying. Usagi is must. The 5th Turtle himself would be cool. Think was Zack? Ace Duck, Ray Filet, Now different looks. Gotta do the Morphed Turtles as costume swaps, the Archie wrestling suits especially Raph's black suit, and throw back to the 80s comic look 2003, 2012, and RISE looks. Just some ideas.
This is the stage where the difficulty really ramped up for me. Those rock soldiieers are the WORST! I'm sure with help it's not as bad but by yourself it's rough. I eventually did it though.
The Rock soldiers also gave me a lot of trouble. I found a few good tricks for dealing with them. 1) Keep combat close so they won't do their charge attacks and dodge their punches. 2) Special moves from jumping or after flipping/dodging will KO them in one hit. 3) Jump kick them up and down to juggle them in the air.

I love that you can solo this with April if you want to. It's great to see her kick butt along side the turtles.
I love that the turtle blimp slowly crosses the screen while the credits roll, just like in the nes game (can’t remember if it was 2 or 3)
Also, I can't get over that the sound for the Statue charging up that huge laser blast is the same sound as the Charge Beam from Metroid Prime.
Two weeks later, this game continues to make me sooo happy still! 😆
