This was such a fantastic time! Had so much fun playing reality TV, but had the most fun just hanging with some amazing people.
It was so great seeing this collaboration of great automotive minds! I hope we can see more of this in the future. This was so much fun! 🙂❤️
Also end of day three I'm looking a bit rough, but oh man it was great!
@@TheQuestionableGarage, it was fun and entertainment. ... and this shows in the finished product. Great skills but more like good fun hanging out with friends and just getting things done. From the viewers point of view, we want to see more like this. 👍👍👍✊✊✊✌✌✌
Is that why johnny rev was on the trailer in the last video
The king of questionable choices!!!
Derek and family, I'm disabled and bedridden so watching these episodes allows me to experience some freedom through you and your work. I don't have the words to thank you for what you do for me. May the Lord bless all of you.
I’m nearly in the same boat.but I’m always looking forward for these videos..all of the videos.
I'm disabled but I'm blessed to be able to get in my wheelchair and get around & out of the house.
That's a mark of a really good motoring channel, if those unable to enjoy car stuff themselves, get so much enjoyment out of watching the content. 👍
Praying for you Stephan!!
God is so good. You and your family are in my prayers Stefan.
VGG is the best channel on TH-cam. No comparison. Been fun following over the last few years.
Thank you
@@ViceGripGarage that's what a fellers been saying for a few years now too, and this series has been the bee's knees 🤣😍❤️
I agree too. Second that.
Respectfully disagree and have to say Puddins Fab Shop is the Best . Kind of the old school VGG but a good bit more personality.
@@jonnybrown600 why even comment puddin does nothing but crappy old Datsuns nothing like vgg at all I used to subscribe to puddin but he's slowly changing he acts like he's the bees knees all he does is go on about how he needs you there to feed his family you can't compare vgg and puddin Derek is still the same nice guy from years ago puddin needs to get over himself the bigger he gets the more he forgets how he started
Dan the Interior Man is my favourite of this new VGG crew. I like his wisdom, humility, kindness and quiet persistence. We need more such people nowadays. 🤔
Thanbk you so much. What a nice thing to say.
@@dantheupholsteryman1922
You're welcome, compliment well earned.
@@dantheupholsteryman1922 I loved seeing you work!
HELP: what model pre pump fuel filter does he alway recommend???
Dan great furniture in the truck it looks custom great use of the hounds tooth material.
Derek. You just took your channel to the next level this mini series was awesome and you couldn’t got a better group of guys together
The upholstery absolutely blew my mind. Talk about craftsmanship! I can't wait to see more of him!
The old school craftsmanship with the retro style is perfect for the square body it looks like deluxe GM with better materials.
Interior and upholstery I don't do well. Watching a master do this never gets old. Everybody, GREAT JOB!!! Encore!!!
He has the perfect voice/speech to be an airline pilot
I hope Derek paints the exterior to match the interior paint , that color is nice!
The amount of knowledge he has for his craft must be insane.
Can a fella just appreciate the awesomeness of the interior by Dan? The whole series has been great. The crew cab is going to be a showpiece when she's done.
Thanks, II loved doing it.
A guy here in Pennsylvania recently got hooked on a feller's channel and changed my life. Your combination of humor and knowledge of cars warms my heart and lifts my spirits. Thank you Derek and the gang for everything you do! "I'll be dipped" ❤️

South east PA over here. A guys been watching for years and this feller lifted my spirits up when I was down. And I ain't kiddin ya, Down. So, its worth it for me being a member. Make it a good day Tim.
@@jaredfarney675 nice to meet a fellow Pennsylvanian here! "Perfect".
@@jaredfarney675 you have a great one too!
South Central Pa. here, Been watching for some Years now. The Content is only getting better and better, it’s good to know I’m among good Company enjoying VGG,LGG & VGL. keep It Safe Out There
Knowing how much work that goes into filming, editing and production and I’m not including the actual wrenching, planning or organizing of the job, I think most people couldn’t even fathom how much effort It takes. Like when normal people go to bed, he goes to the work behind the work. I think this is the most impressive part of VGG. He’s ONE guy doing all this, with incredible passion, an incredibly understanding and supportive wife and boys. Literally has the stamina of an Olympic athlete behind his passion. He shows what can be achieved by a regular dude when you really put yourself into being and doing what you love.
im not downing your comment its a very nice thing to say but i wouldn't say its just him just idk if you ever listen to jessica but she def does the fancy business talk Derek does the walking
@@lurchadams2400 I would not disagree with that statement, she is vital to survival of the channel and allowing and supporting Derek to pump out his content. I actually believe they both have pretty savvy business chops, but yes, Jessica is the navigational beacon in the family, as it should be. Pretty sure the Sasquatch would agree.
Sad, these episodes are more entertaining than anything bankrupt Hollyweird is putting out there. It’s a genuine experience to watch. Thank you all ! God bless.
It's amazing how easy a master makes his craft look easy. Yep I'm talking about Dan.
Again i have to say,, Dan is the MAN! that interior is just crazy good! And other than the wonky sewing machine, Dan brought zero drama... a perfect team member. YAY, Dan!
I enjoyed it immensely.
This was a great surprise when a feller woke up this morning! Sitting on the back porch, drinking Coffee, listening to the birds, smelling the Honeysuckle in the air, and new Vice Grip Garage episode.
Life is Amazing!
Just after 11pm over here, frosty beverages in hand & it's a great thing to watch, Rj in Oz
“Let us know when you make it home” it’s stuff like that, most people won’t understand but stuff like that means a lot! And shows what kinda people they are
What a tribute to teamwork and love of machine....as a 60-year-old grandma...I enjoyed this tremendously.... well done!
It’s refreshing to see people come together, no egos, just hard work and having fun at it! Stay safe everyone!
This truck will be great for taking the family to future events!
Great combo with the Independence in tow!
Great video Derek!
Wow. Dan really is a master of his craft. Don't see too many of those anymore
Thank public school systems. Government lecture rooms don't even teach you how to deal with the debt they give you. Hopefully Dan has or will pass down everything he knows.

Thanks for taking us on your journey, I'm honored. Wish I was there
Best thing, most positive thing on TH-cam right now hands down.
I'm loving this series! Between this and the Vice Grip Lodge shop build, a guy has the best programming available! A Big thanks to all of the other TH-cam family members that became involved. This is better than anything on cable, hands down!
This is the kind of thing a feller needs to see happen more often. The way your personalities work off one another is pure gold. This should be a thing. Y'all are a dream team. I could easily watch a hundred more episodes of this group working together.
Ripping the Scout in the bog was hilarious! Men taking time during a deadline-driven project to do manly, ridiculous things: I love it!
I'm speechless.A lot of feelings but no words.Well done and Thank You!
This has been so much FUN to watch! Thank you all!
One of the best channels on TH-cam. Perfect mix of wrenchin', humor, and perfect editing. Such a cool channel to watch.
When I was a teen I fell for my first truck. Seeing this interior brought that memory back. 1972 Chevy Scottdale tan with Camel and orange plaid interior!
I really enjoyed seeing Dan’s work!! Really interesting to see what goes in to making a really nice interior
Dan that interior is going to be the best, like your modesty, but the work you are doing is awesome!
Thanks. The leather seats are really cool.
Wher do I even begin? The talent and skill in your garage was way better then most dealerships! When you surround yourself with good people the possibilities are endless! I can’t tell which was nicer the plumbing? The wiring ? Or the stitch work. All absolute gentlemen
I know a few of us started in the dealerships and shops and/or our own shops..
"Got hosed down in the yard, like an animal..."
This series was awesome, Derek. Maybe think about making it a yearly-ish event?
Too funny!
That was an absolute blast , so much talent under one roof , I really want to see the Ole girl pull out of the garage completely done . Thanks Derek for the great intertainment
I want to follow Dan. That is something I have always been afraid of and Dan made it look easy and beautiful. Great job Dan the interior Man. Someone Get Dan a page started please.
Thanks. I'm trying to do that right now!
I second that! Dan definitely needs a channel!!
All of this crew is impressive but Dan is next level awesome.
Thank you so much!
VGG easy to believe you have this many people willing to drop what they are doing to help you because they know you would do the same and more. YOU are a MODEL to all SIR!!!!
Thanks Teresa.. we are all buds.. Derek is a special person.
Amazing Job Dan Looks AWESOME.
Thanks!
Never cared about interior before but watching Dan... It's amazing! Makes all the difference.
Dan made it look easy, but we all know how difficult that is. What a pleasure it was watching Dan create interior!

Thanks for letting us take a peek into your world
I love this! Don't know what to say but I have to say something for the algorithms, super crew and the inside of the car looks soooooo darn good.
Jessica is the glue that keeps everything from coming apart , I love her
She's like a spray on adhesive, cured to the right tackiness. ...or something like that. Basically, I agree. She's integral, irreplaceable, invaluable, and some other smart sounding words.
@@jspaulding4106 I hear you.. I sometimes try to use fancy words myself.. Ya know, to sound more photosynthesis...😂🍻🍻

Awsome job everybody. It is a good thing the ladies were there to keep you guys in line!

Dan's work is gorgeous.
Thanks, wait til you see the seats, dash, and door panels.

This was it.....THIS was the video I needed to realize that I am not the only one that has had issues lining up the 73-80 squarebody hood...thank you VGG, for having issues with the hood installation!
These 3 episodes are worth their weight in gold! You can really use them as reference to do your projects, from years to come! Tell us please, where did you find these guys?? They are the best!!
Dan is the man. He does awesome work. Glad to hear he'll be back
Recently was told about your channel by a friend and I attended the freedom 500 this year. What you do is incredible. The skill and personality you have are perfect. I'm in pa hoping to get my hands on something I can restore or wrench on myself. Got all the knowledge I need right here. Keep the videos coming!!
Dan's upholstery work is the frosting on the cake. It has been fun watching the whole process. Great bunch of guys and gals pitching in to get the job done, well almost, but there isn't all that much left to do.
Looking forward to seeing the rig out on the road and the public getting to see the result of all the work.

Thanks for the compliment
Great result everyone!
Dan the interior man is the dadgum Alpha Buck of the sewin machine forest 🌳. I’ve enjoyed this greatly 👍 I think the old Scout is ready for some diff locks😆
He is a competent trimmer, but watching him do the dash was difficult. I have never seen a trimmer try to make cardboard patterns directly from the dash. And when he was testing the fit of the cover, you can see why. The only time I ever made cardboard patterns is when I wanted the pattern for future use. And I made them from the pieces as I fitted them to the dash, or seat, or whatever I was covering. I am a second generation retired trimmer, and spent the last half of my career doing high end custom interiors in show cars. An added prediction: The corners of that headliner will start curling down by next year.
@@lensrc7460 Thanks for the compliments. The corners won't come down, and if they did it will be an easy fix.

This was an absolute amazing mini series. It hit all of the nostalgic feels of 90s/00s car television. You fellas killed it! I really hope to see this same group attack someone else's project. Derek, if you edited all of this, very very impressive my friend.

This is one of, if not the best car guy get togethers out there! Great job everybody!
CONGRATULATIONS! Nice job fellers. 👏
Love this truck. I used to have a 90 silver-A-Dow that I’ve had since I was 16 years old I’m now 41. Few years ago it was stolen from me at gun point I fought back and almost lost my life. Never got the truck back I miss it so much. I was out of work for over a year from ptsd which I still suffer from along with anxiety. I would love to get another truck one day. But I just can’t afford it. I look all the time for anything I might be able to afford but none of them have engines or they just have too much wrong with them . It heals my heart to see y’all working together to get this done. I wish I had that kind of friendship in my life. I started watching You back when I was shielding myself from the world I was losing everything I had ever worked hard for cause I couldn’t work I couldn’t drive I couldn’t even get inside of a car without freaking out. Now I’m able to not only get in a car I can now drive again which means I can work again. But unfortunately my dream of owning another truck will have to wait because of all the debt I’ve collected. I’m rambling now, the only reason I’m telling you all this is because I wanted to thank you 🙏🏽 for making me laugh when all I wanted to do was cry and just plain giving me something to want live for. I’m sure I’m not the only one out here that feels this way. You do change lives in your own fun way. What you are doing is taking something that’s damaged that world has turned its backs on and you’re giving it attention and love and putting it back in the world giving it purpose again. Weather it’s an old Cadillac, truck or a broken human being. You are appreciated. Thank you we all love your guts. Boom bam biscuits oh and can’t wait for the next series with these guys and gals.
