I know exactly how you feel. 2022 for you was 2021 for me. Talk to as many people as you can and get far away from your comfort zone. speak to multiple therapists until you find one that can give you a little bit of help. It's not for everyone but it definitely helped me.

My cousin committed suicide at the age of 23 in October last year. He and I had a sibling-like bond and I looked up to him like a big brother. This song means more to me now than it ever did before because I feel lost without him, but this song gives me hope and encouragement for a future of prosperity in rememberance of him. Our last night has a gift. They have helped me out in ways they don't even know. I was an addict on the border of sucide right after my mom passed away. I truly believe that I wouldnt be standing here today if I didn't have 3 things, a phone, an auxiliary cord, and an our last night playlist. My mom was the last piece of family I had that didn't live 12+ hrs away. My main cooping method was driving and listening to music. One night I was just an emotional mess about my mom, life, and drugs and the past. It was a really rainy day and I had the idea of screw it I'mma step on the gas and steer straight and the only way I was gonna stop was when I made impact into something that was gonna have enough force to kill me. Got to about 95 mph and pedal to the ground then sunrise came on and i slammed on my brakes pulled to the side of the road put my hazards on and balled and balled my eyes out till I couldn't breathe. Now I hear sunrise and I think positivly and know that I had and have hope and if it wasn't for that exact song to come on to snap me out of it, I would not be here anymore. You guys are equipped with a gift of writing relateable music that speaks to the soul. Thank you guys so much for allll of your music!!! One day I hope to be able to see you guys in person perform, and that God would grant me the honor to give you guys a great big hug and say thank you. "I won't go to my grave until a difference is made" the buildup this song has makes this part so powerful I get chills by hearing it. Especially the second and third time it's repeated. Such an amazing song guys. I find it that hardcore bands make the most beautiful acoustic songs.
My cousin committed suicide at the age of 23 in October last year. He and I had a sibling-like bond and I looked up to him like a big brother. This song means more to me now than it ever did before because I feel lost without him, but this song gives me hope and encouragement for a future of prosperity in rememberance of him. He would want me to live my life to the fullest and succeed and I know somehow I will find the strength to do that. RIP Andrew. I love you with all my heart ❤️

I believe the song is about suicide and since suicidal thoughts worsen towards nighttime they're playing in front of a sunset to empower people that they can make it to the sun rise (woah oh woah [lol])

It's seldom that I leave comments on TH-cam but I feel compelled to say something to you guys.
I stumbled upon your band's channel not too long ago while looking for somebody else's music and then found your Skyfall cover under "related videos" list. You did a great job for that so I thought I should check out your original stuff. I did and I was just blown away. Everything about your music screams passion, love, hope and all things wonderful. It makes me sad yet happy at the same time. It's therapy. It's beautiful. It doesn't matter where I'm at in life right now but every time your music comes on my iTunes, I stop to listen, breathe and appreciate the moment. Not just for me but those I care about and even anyone I pass by on the street.
I'm so glad I found your band's channel. I bought your music that same day. This band, these songs. After first finding you guys and your cover of radioactive I knew I found a band I could also listen to and sing along to. But little did I know that Oak Island was to come into my life and make me see color. This song, and Same Old War as honestly gotten me through some seriously dark times. Makes me emotional, and gives me goosebumps. Its hard not to get into these songs once I lose myself after I put my earbuds in. Thank you for the inspiration and hope. Our last night has a gift. They have helped me out in ways they don't even know. I was an addict on the border of sucide right after my mom passed away. I truly believe that I wouldnt be standing here today if I didn't have 3 things, a phone, an auxiliary cord, and an our last night playlist. My mom was the last piece of family I had that didn't live 12+ hrs away. My main cooping method was driving and listening to music. One night I was just an emotional mess about my mom, life, and drugs and the past. It was a really rainy day and I had the idea of screw it I'mma step on the gas and steer straight and the only way I was gonna stop was when I made impact into something that was gonna have enough force to kill me. Got to about 95 mph and pedal to the ground then sunrise came on and i slammed on my brakes pulled to the side of the road put my hazards on and balled and balled my eyes out till I couldn't breathe. Now I hear sunrise and I think positivly and know that I had and have hope and if it wasn't for that exact song to come on to snap me out of it, I would not be here anymore. You guys are equipped with a gift of writing relateable music that speaks to the soul. Thank you guys so much for allll of your music!!! One day I hope to be able to see you guys in person perform, and that God would grant me the honor to give you guys a great big hug and say thank you. Without a doubt you guys saved my life 1000 percent. Keep up the great work!

I have been up sense 3:30 am. It is now 5:06 am and I would like to say that i made it to the sunrise.
Going to be honest, my friend got me into this band, and listening to their old and new songs really gave me the insight on who I am and what I want to do with my life. I always used to be down, to say the least, but when you let the lyrics get through to you. It means a lot. It would honestly be my biggest wish to see them in concert or just get to say hi and hug them. I don't fan girl, and I don't like bow down, but when people make good music it should be recognized. I love all of their songs, from their first to the most recent. Keep making great music and inspiring many!
