Thank you. I wish you the same. I'm actually going to be using your Pinecone tree idea for some of my tree's. I'll be giving them a slightly different look by spray painting the pinecone trees each with one main color using metallic colors and bright pastels with a glitter that highlights the main color of the tree. I'll then give them out to the elderly tenants in my apartment.
My favorite is probably the pine-cone tree, though the green felt one seems like it would be softer and less easy to damage. I've heard about people gluing cut-off plastic spoons or forks to a cone shape, making trees that way. I'd want to go a little further, drilling very small holes into the spoons so a light could be placed inside the tree.
The fab white one was my fave, but the pine cone one was supes classy, & the felt one reminded me of the North Pole in the movie Elf, so really I ❤️ all of them
Pinecone is my fave, but I know I don't have the patience to make it! Willl prob make the felt. I work in an assisted living retirement community and they all have a small shelf outside their door, these would be perfect!
The little feather tree is the most precious tree ive seen of all thr miniatures. Where did you get the feathers ? I have 2 granddaughters i definitely am making at least 1 but im thinking id better make them both the feather tree maybe with different colored embellishments. I know i said this before i believe it was to you that i think it would be a cool idea to hide a lightweight gift inside the tree and then glue on a bottom. Maybe a bracelet or necklace just a idea. Beautiful trees
Hi from a new subscriber in England, I really like all of the trees, but oddly enough ,it is the pine cone "petal " one that I like the most, maybe because I am a country girl at heart. Thanks for sharing.
WOW! Beautiful! I made the cones using cereal boxes and I'll be making 2 of the 3 trees. I don't think I have the patience to snip the pine cones. Live em all but my favorite is the feather tree. Thanks for sharing!
+Christine Mckoy OK - love the idea of creating the cones from cereal boxes! Sheer genius! And the pinecone one did take forever so good choice :) thanks for watching and Merry Christmas!
It’s wonderful that many people like trees 🌳 🌲 our earth needs help. I just watched Seaspiracy documentary on Netflix and it’s amazing. Thought if there’s more people that care you would like it. Make it a happier Christmas 🎄 time. Earth 🌎 love 💗
I really like you glamorous tree creations very inspiring and the way you speak is clear is understandable yay so that's a must stay blessed thanks for inspiring us
I have been wanting to make diy trees cuz don't wanna pay 20$+ and I have bags of white feathers & pinecones so I'm super excited to do these tmrw .thank you
Do you happen to remember what kind of feather you used? Using the right feather makes all the difference in the world in how the tree looks after finished.
It looks like you used marabou feathers which are very fluffy and it's impossible to make them look like branches of a tree. You may want to try turkey feathers that have a natural curl-up at the end. If you should have the time, you may want to view the Martha Stewart video from her show of making a feather tree. She says that she's using chicken feathers but someone perhaps gave her the wrong info. Regardless, the finished tree is what most of us are going for. These feathers can be found at Moonlight Feathers. Your work is simply beautiful and, IMO, the best on any channel.
BTW, to get a curled up branch, use a curling iron on medium, NOT hot, and you should get the 'look' that you or anyone wanting this tree to look like.
@@CarterSams well im gonna be getting some coworkers help on that dear. I just have compassion for our Senior Citizens and sometimes people who are actually young that must live in those homes away from their families it's sad and it's a very small thing to do and i hope to pull it off with help from friends and family. Thanks for your kind words but i really don't want any thanks these residents are always so sweet and sometimes just giving them 5 minutes and a hug means everything to them
@@virginiasantillan5262 it's true, I couldn't agree more. I've been painting in a nursing home recently and there are very sweet people of lots of different ages and they are so happy to have just a little bit of conversation with someone new or even something new to just look at for a while. Not everyone understands what it is like for them and I'm happy to make contact with someone who does and is willing to reach their heart out. Also I know you don't want anything in return for your kindness, but it does inspire me! So thank you for sharing these things with me. ❤️
Oh my goodness! They are each special in their own way. The pinecone tree is more in keeping with my personal style. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas!🎄🎁
I live Hawaii and sorry, it’s just me, but, I feel heartless cutting up the pine cones. We have pine cones waaaaaaay in the mountains. I have baskets full, but cannot get myself to cut even a few up. My fave by far was the feather tree. Will look for bagged feathers and attempt this one.
I am mesmerized by the color of your eyes and the trees look great.
That's really nice of you and I'm glad you like the trees! Happy holidays!
Thank you. I wish you the same.

Thanks for watching and commenting! The feather one is cool, adds a different flare. Have a great holiday season!!
In a sea of cheesy, overwrought DIYs, these shine like the stars they are. Restraint is a beautiful thing. Well done! ~ Lisa
You made my day. Thank you and I'm glad you like the trees. Have a great season!! :)

Do you happen to remember what kind of feather you used? Using the right feather makes all the difference in the world in how the tree looks after finished.
Hi! The cheapest kind at the craft store - all white pack. Hope that helps, I know the top part of the packaging was blue.
