Enough with the stupid sound effects. A well placed "I don't care I don't care" clip can work very nicely. But just hitting buttons over and over is never funny or entertaining. Opie thinks it makes him funny. It doesn't.
Of all the jocks featured in jocktober, Jack Diamond has got to be one of the most talentless awful ones. He even gives Todd and opie a run for their money. I mean, Christ, that "cavalcade o comedy" is the equivalent of doing stand up and reading out of a joke book
You know you're doing a shitty impression when you have to say the characters name before. I laughed at the worst Mr Burns impression, not the joke, just the horrible attempt.
We're all bothered by it. At a certain point though you just throw up your hands and try to take at least some level of satisfaction from the fact that his fall to complete irrelevancy was so rapid.
He even said himself that usually it means that someone speaks two languages, but what he was getting it was that he was wondering If it was some kind of code word the crappy show was using for something else because shows like that do it all the time. Look, I get it, you hate Opie. Everybody hates Opie. But the constant bitching in the comments thread about a guy who literally came up with the actual bit you’re listening to at the moment gets really old really fast. There’s plenty of stuff to criticize him for, but people come up with the dumbest crap.
I understand that Jock Tober is Matt to be funny however in my opinion, Jack diamond was a really great radio host and I hope he ends up on the airwaves somewhere else one day given that the station he worked at flipped formats. He did so much for his community and he didn’t seem like the arrogant person that this segment portrays them to be.

I listened to this one when 92.3 KRock was still a thing and had the first few hours of opie and Anthony was on it was some good times for sure
