I get so floored that grown ass adults were partying with a nine year old little girl like she was 29, it’s insane.

As someone who has been institutionalized before due to mental illness, i know Drew's pain from that experience. But, like her, in the end, realized those people were trying to save me and I came out the other end a better person. Bless both Drew and Keanu. They seem like great people.
Not all mental hospitals are that great tho :/ I've been in mental institutions and seen patients get treated like shit so many times. There was this one schizophrenic guy I'll never forget the way they treated him. They used to provoke, mock, make fun of him, physically abuse him, he hasn't allowed out of his room ever. Had to sleep every night with restraints even when he did nothing wrong. I'll never forget that. I was a preteen at the time though so I didn't know what to do
Drew is such a great role model for her own two daughters - giving them what she needed growing up but never got from her irresponsible parents. She is a strong, determined woman who is grateful for a second chance and accomplishing so much. She is an inspiration. 💕

Hi Keanu, I really only saw the fantasy romance drama "The Lake House" (2006) twice... . :) Possibly because this kind of movie best suits my personality, my way of being. Then, a few years later, by chance, I saw some articles online describing the tumultuous life full of unforeseen tragedies that you unfortunately lived through ... Then I read various articles with photos and even watched some videos made by various people in which they describe and show your beautiful, humanitarian deeds to the less privileged. The simple and understanding way, the compassion and courtesy with which you treat people regardless of their training, their status, etc. It is admirable and doubles your outer beauty with which you happened to be born. When life has given us every reason to become evil, angry, and aggressive, the power to CHOOSE and REMAIN good, humane, and ready to help others who are far more disadvantaged - and there are always people who have suffered at least as much or even more than ourselves ... - it really makes us heroes, role models to admire and follow. And you Keanu are such a HERO for millions of people around the globe. :) Many artists are admired for one or even all of their work in the film industry, but few are admired for their humanity, compassion, and help to others as I sincerely believe you are. I always found Drew Barrymore to be a beautiful soul that has a heart of gold that is at times just misunderstood. The best part of her was when you could see who she was inside when she was trying to hide herself. I found her best skill was her true smile that is rarely seen. He could use a hug at times when the days got hard to deal with yet it was Keanu reeves who also seen this golden personality. It is rare to see such a person a soul that can be.

As someone who has been institutionalized before due to mental illness, i know Drew's pain from that experience. But, like her, in the end, realized those people were trying to save me and I came out the other end a better person. Bless both Drew and Keanu. They seem like great people.
Not all mental hospitals are that great tho :/ I've been in mental institutions and seen patients get treated like shit so many times. There was this one schizophrenic guy I'll never forget the way they treated him. They used to provoke, mock, make fun of him, physically abuse him, he hasn't allowed out of his room ever. Had to sleep every night with restraints even when he did nothing wrong. I'll never forget that. I was a preteen at the time though so I didn't know what to do

Hearing stories like this motivates motivates someone who was also stuck up in a depressing situation and you think you are nowhere to go. But hearing Barry's story is more down than situation where i was in. Yeh, i am already old and i was not able to reach those dreams that i want to achieve. The simple and understanding way, the compassion and courtesy with which you treat people regardless of their training, their status, etc. It is admirable and doubles your outer beauty with which you happened to be born.
When life has given us every reason to become evil, angry, and aggressive, the power to CHOOSE and REMAIN good, humane, and ready to help others who are far more disadvantaged - and there are always people who have suffered at least as much or even more than ourselves ... - it really makes us heroes, role models to admire and follow.
And you Keanu are such a HERO for millions of people around the globe. :)

I love Drew for how true n real she is... her movie "My Date with Drew" was so moving. She is kind and kind enough to have people help and love her through the difficulties. It's amazing how she has come out from the dark experiences. Her "happy" movies and smile are so affectionate.

After her performance in “Fire Starter “, which was incredible for an actress so young, I can imagine there was some trauma caused by the intensity of her character enough to dissociate herself from reality to bring forth, or let go, to the self trauma’s she’d experienced already. I can imagine she was quite overwhelmed.
I was about 6 when ET was released.
I watched this story unfold in a way I never thought a child star would unfold. Beautiful, wonderful.....dark and dirty. But look at Drew now. Amazing.
