I like the ability to mount Pulse on different trucks. It is a good idea because nations are usually very protective of their industries and this way their manufacturers can have a piece of cake and it saves money too because technicians are already trained and equipped to service trucks that are already in use. For example Tatra will get big thumbs up in Czech and Slovak armies.
American made ammunition is very expensive, Germany should go with PULS and manufacturer its own rockets, this will not require any permissions vs. the GMARS that does
Or produce them under license... especially PrSM - IIRC the US only produces 500-1000 per year, plus they're the only ones the Russians had no chance to study yet. And maybe a precision-guided AT2 to lay mine fields.
In the past I would’ve argued you get what you pay for! But with the corrupt democrat politicians in control companies like Boeing are allowed to charge an arm and leg for sub standard equipment.
Not allowing for third party ammunition is bad as that would exclude the cheapest MLRS ammo GLSDB. Wow, LM "threat" to now want to sell ammo to Europe is extremely hollow. Europe should perhaps consider that threat in the context to what if they buy the product where they rely on LM as their willingness to boycott Europe would make that buy very risky.
PULS might in the end be the better choice. The war in Ukraine shows that troop commanders need to think about cost effectiveness. And GMARS rockets might be to expensive, especially since most of the artillery shooting is done under 50 km. So why use an expensive rocket for smaller distances, when you can use a cheaper one? Additionally GMARS is much heavier. Many bridges in Eastern Europe can’t support heavy loads. Especially war bridges are very limited and having a bunch of heavy systems, even though each one is within the weight limit, wears down the war bridges exponentially much more.
Yes, pretty much. but the E at the end is silent. You know the german word "Nein"? You know from that Adolf Meme. Pretty much like that word ends. But not spoken to this extreme like in the meme. Fist part like rhinestone but ended like nein. biggest problem is that "e" and "i" are spoken different in german and english. Also I tested it. In English "Rhine" is spoken with your tongue moving more. If you try to tune the movement of your tongue down you get easier to the point were it sounds like Rhein in german.
Man, don't do drugs. This is an American system on a German truck. Is this all "German engineering"? For half a year now, a similar system has been in the equipment of the Polish army, it works on an identical principle. The Korean launcher was installed on Polish trucks and no one is talking nonsense about some new quality, as the Germans usually do.
@@jh5kl Show me news that Homar-K missile systems (this is the designation of the Korean Chunmoo system on a Polish truck) are Polish construction exactly like the Germans do. The Puls is a much better system. Puls is already in The Netherlands.

The GMRS won't fit in a C130, but wil it fit in an A400m?
yes it will. It can up to 37 T.. gmars got 32T
@@David-wf4mhThe weight isn’t the issue, the height of the system is
Irrelevant as we all know that Germany needs it to defend itself and its European Allies against Russia. For that it does not need to be airlifted.

Rheinmetall has started producing GMLRS missiles that are HIMARS compatible anyways.
So this isn't really the dealbreaker.

why is a can reading the text?
Please pronounce it *"G-Mars"* instead of "gmars" ... because the G literally stands for "guided" so it means "Guided MARS"

The system from Israel looks like it would be a very good fit for Ukraine.
