Those passing scenes of mountains & greenery during the bus trips , provoke feelings of peaceful tranquillity doesn't it?. Your Kiwi girlfriends seems fun to be around with. Glad you had a lovely time with your friends in Penang, Taylor. 😃😁

Thanks for making this video for my beloved hometown Penang. I love taking the Aerobus to KL too. The bus is so comfortable and their service is great! I really love how they adopt the airline service concept into their bus service. Well, regarding the bridge, I usually just call it the 2nd Penang Bridge. All of you sure know how to find great food in Penang. I love Ananda Bahwan too, and it has been a while since I last dined there. I saw that you all dined in my favorite café called Acupaday! Hope you'll come back to Penang for another staycation. Thanks so much for having so much good things to say about my hometown.

I love your videos, and this one is especially relevant since I'm visiting KL and Penang next month. I'm flying to KL from the US, staying in KL a few days (in the KL Sentral / Bangsar area), and then traveling to Penang. I was wondering about a few questions:
    1) Since I'm not staying near Ampung Park/KLCC, does it still make sense (in terms of time) to take the bus, rather than going back to the airport to fly to Penang? Air Asia flights are not that much more expensive than the bus, but it seems like the bus might be a nicer experience than Air Asia (I'll be flying Air Asia twice later in my trip).
    2) How far in advance would you recommend booking the Aeroline bus? I have accommodations booked, so I want to travel on a specific day.
    3) Are taxis available at the Queensbay mall? I know Grab is popular in Malaysia, but I might not have mobile service without wifi.
    4) Does the public bus stop at the mall and go to the Batu Ferringhi area? From what I could find, it seems like buses from the southern part of Penang connect to a different bus route around Georgetown to head towards the beach area.

    • @andrewtaylor4558
      @andrewtaylor4558  ปีที่แล้ว

Oh, the restaurant is called Sri Ananda Bahwan. They have three locations, I believe. The one in the Video is on Macalister, one is in Georgetown and one in Tanjung Bungah. Hope that helps! 😊

From the 1st of January 2023 the Malaysian government will charge an additional accommodation fee for all accommodation.
Nationals or permanent residents are exempt.
Credit and debit cards are only accepted, no cash transactions are accepted.
Credit card details are retained so you are open for incidental charges long after you have checked out and gone.
NEVER pay by credit or debit card, only pay when you check out, and only pay by cash and demand a receipt.
Staff can also scam you if they have access to your card information, especially if they get access to your pin.
After any National disaster or pandemic tourists are seen as wealthy targets for financial recovery.
Stay home and keep your money home.

Strange...have not heard of such new 2023 standing payment directive for tourists from our govt yet. Malaysian stores, hotels or any hospitality services don't scam tourists of their charge cards details. We have to take care of our country's image. Tourism is an important revenue for us. We want tourists to come here again & again for their vacations or to live /work here. You must be refering to another developing country that you've not been to. Better you stay at home & don't travel either...😁

I would like to very much! The problem is that I am doing all of these videos with only an iPhone 8. I’ve tried shooting videos outside but the sound is just terrible. As soon as I can afford it I’ll be doing much more of what you suggest.
I do subscribe to a Canadian guy who has never posted anything except from a chair in his living room showing some pics here and there. He has about 400,000 subscribers.
I do go out quite a bit to shoot video, just not of me talking outside. Hope this explains things for you. It’s really lack of proper equipment. I’ve only been doing this for under 3 months. 😊
