This is one of those series that I distinctly remember playing as a kid and I wished got to experience the full game experience since most of the time I played the trial version of these games. Great Video!
When I gotten my first laptop (i was 9 or 8), there was a program already downloaded to my computer. It had polar bawler and polar golf. I missed it so much! Unfortunately I was free for only a sertan number of plays, and my parents didn't wanna buy it for me
I remember playing polar bowler as a child but I’m only 21 right now. I was probably like 3-4 I started playing polar bowler. Also I played the other games listed to polar tubing is decent but I like polar golfer and still have polar golfer. :)
Oh my GOD, I used to love Polar Bowler as a kid 😭 I didn’t think people remembered these games but I’m so glad they do!! Another game series I’ve never seen anyone mention are the Fate games; I think they’re also under the old Wild Tangent games label but I remember being absolutely in love with them. :)
This was a fun video I wasn't expecting to get so invested in. I want to hear more about Wild Tangent! Wouldn't mind more videos on it because that was something on the internet I didn't get to see as a kid. Their games seem really unique and look like they had a lot of effort put into them, especially for simple online computer games at the time.

I just know WildTangent because when i was a kid, i loved playing one of their games called "Penguins!" Nostalgia, It took me 6 years to look for the game just to notice its called penguins bruh.
Penguins was an interesting game. It was like Lemmings (I didn’t know of Lemmings until way later) and it was fun! Heck, even the penguin from Polar Bowler was in it!

I found out in polar tubing that in one of the levels, you can turn around the minute you start, and by using the turbo, i got out of bounds and found out the laws of physics broke, and I eventually entered a void.
All the games can be bought from WildTangent. The only one I couldn't get to work was the Pineapple Cup. Everything else ran pretty smoothly on Windows 10.
Does anyone know what the HP PC equivalent of F zero was. I thought it was a Wild Tangent game, but I can’t seem to find it. Basically, it was a racing game on suspended, gravity defying tracks where the racers drove space jets.
as someone who recently got a hold of these games again, I think you actually missed a couple, but it's absolutely understandable why; one was a Polar Golfer sequel, and one seems to have just been brought in by relation and I don't know how much it actually linked to the rest. Polar Golfer: Pineapple Cup, the first one, is a second course for the Polar Golfer gameplay style that I admittedly haven't played, but the clip in this video of the polar bear in a pineapple shirt is where that footage was from. Penguins!, the second, is a fairly solid Lemmings clone featuring penguins and a zookeeper, since you're at a zoo trying to get out of your exhibit (as far as I remember). these were bundled with Bowler, Golfer, Tubing, and Pool on one disc called Polar Sports Ice Pack, and I'm still not sure why Penguins! was included, but to my memory the penguin that shows up on Polar Pool's first table is the style of penguin you coach around in Penguins!, so maybe that's a part of it?
Is it just me? Or did polar golf and bowler had better graphics than what is shown here? I could've sworn there was a 2009 version were it had better character models
I'm not sure. I think the video game might have had better graphics, if that's what you're thinking of. Then again, we all have a tendency to remember things from the past as looking a lot better than they actually did 😆

I have such fond memories of playing Bowler and Gold with my dad, Along with Chicken Invaders

How did you get polar bowler to run? Did you purchase it from WildTangent directly or the internet archive file dump in a Vista vm?
