I am in a transferable job and get transferred every 2 or 3 year some time within a year so we do 95 the same as u mentioned in this vedio and I must say it is after my 8 th transfer and shifting schedule. We never call for movers and packers we have all accessories because we need it very frequently. But some how it is helpful 😊

First of all , appreciate you for recording this amidst the shifting time.We have undergone shifting almost 6 times I guess..bangalore to Malaysia..bangalore to US ..amd in US almost 3 times.. some of the tips were handy, some which we follow it..i generally do the kitchen first..shifting process is one such big headache..only good thing in it is most of the junk will be thrown out and we keep only what is required..

one important tip.... is to tell your husband or whoever is helping you where to put the things... mine tried to help me and got halfway and mixed all cartons.
n was like see dear I cleared 4 boxes.. wen asked where's rest of the stuff... very sweetly replied.. it's in the other boxes

Great tips. Very sensible too. Thank you. Taking pics of the house before and after was a really good tip. I'd done the after..forgot the before...though i had made a list of the negatives and sent it in writing to the landlord in the beginning itself. Another tip. It should be done prior to considering the flat. Check the size of each room in the new place and ensure your furniture will fit. Good reason to discard unwanted stuff. Also check if your furniture can enter the house in any way possible. Either through the main entrance or the windows. In one flat we shifted to we had to pull up our sofas and cupboards through the windows as the staircase was too narrow. Luckily these were very wide windows. Sometimes too, the main door is a bit narrow for broad furniture to go through.

I shifted my house 10times as my husband's job is transferrable in nature.. so I don't find it difficult at all..
