Haven't seen them live yet and I had no idea how hard "Work This Time" goes when played live. I was always a little confused why it's one of their top streamed songs on Spotify, but I like it a lot more having heard it live.
One thing I always have to do when making mixes like this is split it into two sets (non-microtonal then microtonal). This probably comes from the deadhead in me but I’m glad you didn’t go this route. Sick mix, love the videos, keep it up man!
Thanks! Yeah I tried to give the microtonal songs their own little chunk. Didn't want any jarring changes in sound from one to another. Nuclear Fusion and KGLW snuck their way into the general population tho lmao.
this is something I never get to mention bc it is heard for me to find a deadhead in my hometown but could you imagine a king Gizz dark star or the eleven
The Book was 100% a nominee to make it on. Honestly probably should’ve slotted that in over This Thing. Static Electricity is great, but I didn’t want to overdo it with the microtones. Thanks for watching!

Nicely done! I'm trying the same kind of thing as a Christmas gift for a friend. Thankfully I procrastinated long enough I get to use the Levitation stuff too lol
Nice! I'd love to make another one of these and I'd definitely include the Levitation songs. I'll be covering those on tomorrow's episode of KGLWednesdays! Thanks for watching this! I love this project.
They have separate albums (live, demos, and Polygondwanaland) that they themselves refer to as their bootlegger program. kinggizzardandthelizardwizard.com/bootlegger
Sorry to people in Milwaukee. Totally butchered the spelling in the video.

I think "Work This Time" is in one of spotify's official psych playlists, so it gets a lot of listens from people who aren't fans that way

Great set, but I really can’t believe The Book from Sydney and Static Electricity from Melbourne missed out

Great mixing on this! Songs flow really well.
Thanks so much! My goal was to make it sound like a legit full concert :)
Mind blowing! Thank you!!!
my favorite live versions from band releases defines what is not a bootleg recording

Where the hell is my Muddy Water?
how can they be bootlegged versions when this was released by the band -- the term is "live".
They have separate albums (live, demos, and Polygondwanaland) that they themselves refer to as their bootlegger program.

Drums: Eric Moore 😢
RIP :(
Cavs improved so much since he is the sole drummer in the band, so not a bad thing Eric left.
Evil Star would have been sick before KGLW
Hell yeah
Yell heah
