So it's already been a year since I started working with Unity, and this is my progress and results so far! I have around 800 hours logged, but I only started logging them in March, so there are probably a bit more. It's been a great journey so far, and I can't wait for what more to come. I have a lot of cool ideas for videos, but you'll see soon enough! This is sort of a follow-up to my older video "6 Months of Learning Game Development in Unity (Progress & Result)"

Hey! If you're new here, welcome! I'm an indie game developer, currently working on a physics based game using Unity. This is my devlog / devblog where I show off the progress I make on it. I'll try uploading every week, but I'm pretty busy with university and part time job, so I won't have time every week. But I'll do my best!

Recently used it in android studio, not a big fan. Just like they say, in java or you love it or you hate it, there's no in between

Java is not an engine.
I mean, no matter what a game is written in, if it's a fun game, it is fun. Computing power and fun are not intrinsically linked. Minecraft is fun. It is also very poorly optimised.

What I learned since I downloaded Unity: How to uninstall Unity!

Thanks for sharing your journey, its was very interesting. I am around 4 years in and I am also a huge fan of physics simulation in games. That was, what really hooked me about GTA IV's Euphoria ragdoll system. Never stop pushing and think big, you won't believe what you are capable of doing. Best of luck with everything :)

I was looking to start learning Unity myself, but I really only wanted to do the coding part, as I am a C# developer and I love coding in general (I know it is more common to hear that people are not actually willing to do the coding part haha).

Way back about 4 months ago I downloaded Unity Because of you! In just 2 more months Im launching my first commercial game. Everyday I spent 1-6 hours coding or doing artwork (and I put your videos on repeat) I must have watched your 6 month game development with Unity 30-40 times :) ! Thankyou so much!

Y'know, it's encouraging to see people like you. I'm here, taking basic coding lessons to make games of my own and the current project I gotta do is code Snake in Java. so far it's a mess but I'm sure eventually I'll learn how things work and won't be needing to check the teacher's note as often

I am also joining you, I've been meaning to get into for awhile now. I recommend using a site like trello to keep yourself on task, because for me that's the issue that always held me back.
@Nebulosis Never heard of SoloLearn, but it looks pretty cool! Rn im following a 4 hour long tutorial on youtube with 1.5 times speed since I already have basic coding knowledge. (Im decent at python already)
