- Bologna Medicine in English has been a popular choice among IMAT takers in the last few years. I visited most medical schools in Italy that offer English medical courses to international students, and this is my honest opinion if Bologna University medicine in English is good or not.
In this video we quickly go through the university itself, and then the city itself.

The hesitation about the newest courses is correct. While I am very interested in Pavia because of its reputation and it having a more established course, I still am concerned about the fact that Pavia is so small. 🥺🥺

I'm doing imat next year so I really don't know what universities to choose as my top since I'm non European and I think I'm supposed to considering the acceptance rate and the imat grades so please if you have any info that might be helpful and thank you

Last year the minimum score for non-eu was 49, which is relatively high.
But don’t worry, if you study enough everything will be fine
@@helenanavarretee I, too, am studying for the Imat, hoping to take it this year in October. I noticed that the questions are tricky but they never go into the specifics of the scientific material, basically requiring the student to have a very strong grasp on the basics of biology, chemistry, physics, and math. Anyhow, since you're one of the enlightened ones having already passed that meticulous exam, I wonder if you can share with me any tips and tricks you've picked up during your preparation.

heyy I could use some advice, I am currently torn between applying to either the university of Milan or the university of bologna. based on your videos and the cities I've fallen more in love with bologna however I do have some concerns regarding the university itself as you said it is a newer course and that's a major drawback. any insight you could provide me with regarding this matter would incredibly helpful.
All thr English medicine courses in Italy is new except Sapienza .
Great job on introducing the university! I was wondering if the university provides free access to sport halls and activities or at least a reasonable yearly subscription?
I actually decided from the beginning that I want to register in Bologna University since it ranks the first in Italy, but now after what you said about the English programme I’m thinking of reconsidering... so what do you think, shall I proceed with Bologna or it’s better to choose another one to be in the safe side?
What about Padova University? Is it the same case as Bologna (Is its English Programme new or old)?

I'm confused because on the program webpage it states that IMS Bologna students can use the libraries and study rooms of the university. Is it just that there aren't many in general? From the pictures the main library looks substantial. Many thanks for your providing these videos and supplemental material.
I didn't say that they can't, I just said that it was quite limited as in the facilities in general, also keep in mind that Bologna does more than medicine and chancer are getting a spot in the only available libraries is probably pretty hard as well

Yes if you score high enough, usually 2nd and 3rd year are popular years to transfer
Are there enough opportunities to learn practical experiences at medical school in Italy in English?(blood draw and so on)
Yes if you are willing to seek it out.

It's a pity you colored the U of Bologna just as an average university. That's the kind of message I get and it's not right.
I didn't colour anything in any way. I showed up to a hospital that I'm not familiar with, knowing no one and the university being closed. Please tell me how I was meant to present a university that I have never been to, know no one in, had no one to show me around and do a better job 😅 I did the best I can with the resources I had in the only time I had because no one else is bothering. I'm sorry if that's not satisfactory to you!
