I am so excited for this beast to be released by the end of this year or early 2016!. Hopefully the price won't be so high. Chevy needs to hurry up and announce the release date and price with more videos of this truck.

My dad bought the 2014 Silverado High Country Fully Loaded. Lifted it 4 inches and tossed some 33's on it.

i have a black 2015 single cab 5.3L not the 6.2L like in the video. All I need is carbon and new hood and it would look exactly like this one
I only wish if the travel time versions comes back my dad has a Silverado travel time at inside it has real wood no plastic and some panels are soft leather but this truck is beautiful too

Its the front end. That massive grill. Trucks look best when they are squared off in design, in my opinion, but you like whatever you want.

That new 6.2 is a beast. 420/460. The ford tremer stands no chance, and I am a ford fan. I'm waiting for the 6.2 to come out then I'm buying a full 4door Silverado with that beast of a 6.2. I would lobe the two door but with kids on the way I can't.

Good stuff but one correction. The short box you're referring to is actually standard box. No manufacturer, that I know of, offers regular cab w/ short box. Only available on crew/extended cabs. Would be awesome if GM did this because save more weight & give car-like wheelbase. However, they won't. Would need another frame configuration & costs too much with new tooling & crash testing.
I honestly think Chevy should give me this truck. I just had my 1998 Chevy Cheyenne 1500 rear ended by a Ford... Almost threw up. I love that truck and if my frames bent, I don't know what I would do with my life. I wanted to spend the rest of my driving days with that truck. No one but me knows why I love my Cheyenne so much.

I think he meant the ram R/T not express. The express is rams low cost cheaper model truck. The R/T is the performance model. This is a pretty cool truck tho.

It needs the LS7 or the LSA, I'd say LS9 but I'm pretty sure gm wants to keep it exclusive to the ZR1 but please use a different motor why buy it if it's lighter but doesn't have even a little bit more power

Chevy is not making the Reaper. It's a aftermarket tuning company called Lingenfelter. Only thing Chevy has is the High Country but it's not a sport truck. We just need to keep hoping for this to come out. Hopefully 2015 surprise model.

truck looks really nice overall, tires are way too small though. Put some bigger wheels\tires on and it would look 10x better and more balanced.

I absolutely love this truck, I would definitely own one. I wouldn't want that carbon fiber in the bed of truck though just to get scratched and dinged up, everywhere else is just fine.

Great truck! When it comes to speed though, for me, id rather go with the corvette or z28
Remove alot of the carbon fiber (for $$$ issues), offer around 3 paint schemes, add projector lights and keep it under $38k. That, in my opinion would make it production worthy.

Totally agree, GM needs to build the Cheyenne. Keep the Z/28 wheels (w/ taller profile tires) & 6.2 L86 or LT1 (even better). Make the carbon fiber interior, Camaro steering wheel, & Recaro seats optional. Ditch the carbon fiber body panels & carbon ceramic brakes to keep cost down. Next, add center console from crew cab, Sierra Denali gauge cluster with C7 mode options, 8" MyLink screen & AWD option. Finally, must be monochromatic. NO CHROME!

As long as the Americans keep building huge V8 cars without any hybrid or alternative power sources there's no doubt, that we are still sitting on a massive amount of raw oil. Thanks for letting us know Chevrolet :)

Wonder how my ss Silverado will match up? That thing is gonna be fast. A crew cab intake headers 6.2 is fast. Now a single cab 6.2 wow just with heads cam intake that truck could see 10s.

I can't see that happening unfortunately. The way gas prices are now these days I'm hoping that companies are secretly looking into making hydrogen a mass produced fuel option. But yes I do miss the Ram SRT10.

Well... that all depends on the Viper engine that is used. If you look into all the different generations of the V-10 that mopar makes there is a lot of options you can buy. I read an article about mopar willing to make a regular cab RWD Ram 1500 Sport into a "Quick Silver" edition which has the Viper's V-10 engine and transmission. I'm not sure if they are still doing that or not.
If Chrysler and/or Mopar makes a Viper V-10 engine that has valve shut off technology like the 6.4 liter HEMI in the Ram 2500 I would be impressed.

I go by stats, I don't pledge my life to a stupid company, the SRT-10 is still till this day the fastest production truck ever made, and that record was set 10 years ago and still remains, you gotta give credit where credit is due. Just like how the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is now the most powerful muscle car ever made.

im not much of a car guy maybe because I grew up around trucks like peterbilts caterpillar gmc chevy, I don't know why I have 2005 2500hd ex cab 8 bed and two other 2500 and 3500 trucks not much on half ton trucks cause I cant really do a lot of heavy work with it but this one is pretty something I would drive to stores and take it out on the town and hall ass with
