Banchero has been impressive this entire tournament. He’s a solid and willing passer and he has a vast offensive arsenal. I just wish he was a lot more confident with his shot. He seemed to hesitate on good looks far too many times.
I'm a die hard Duke fan, I've been trying to tell people this kids size and athletic ability he should be able to take over every single game in college basketball. He makes outstanding plays at times but hesitates at the biggest moments. Don't know if its his age or his basketball IQ just isn't complete yet. I had to shut off the Michigan St. game because I was getting so upset at his pass ups.
Outside of watching a QB put a team on their backs, there is nothing more special than watching a Point Guard come into their own during March Madness. Great game JR
A QB can never put a team on his back, he needs blocking and wide receivers to get open. A basketball player can have a bigger impact on the game and QBs don't play defense

Absolutely. Paolo can hit from all 3 levels, he's strong, and he's solid on the boards. He also made some nice passes for buckets. The dude is NBA ready.
None of them are fully skilled players all have issues. Chet is not that great as a ball handler like advertised, Smith is more of catch-n-shoot guy even himself is not comfortable to put the ball on floor and dribble, Paolo is not that great as a defensive player and try to overplay sometimes. Paolo IMO is the most polished player among three although people can argue others ceiling are higher. If I were NBA scout I will pick Paolo ahead of the other two, and next I will pick Jaden Ivey out of Purdue he is thundering quick esp his head-n-shoulder fake is the best among all college players I can see his main weakness is 3 pointer consistency.
Paolo has some bad habits. He’s so talented but He can be so lazy and his lack of assertiveness at times can be troubling. I’ve seen him Force too many passes when he should take the shot when he is taking guy’s off the dribble or hesitate only to take a harder shot.
This is a very tough Duke team. Roach has absolutely figured out his role in the team as PG and it has made him a new player. Dukes been a road team all year, let’s keep it rolling

Best game I've seen Duke play as a team in 3 or 4 years. I honestly thought they would lose going in because they were missing the on floor leadership, Roach was unbelievable.

Duke came out with heavy nerves. And they got outrebounded against a smaller team. They can't do that against Arkansas, which is a similar team to Texas tech. Arkansas is gonna foul every defensive possession like they did against Gonzaga because they know the refs can't call everything. They are going to have to handle the physical defense and match it with their own physical defense.
So so so so true. Duke can't come out lacking Defensively and on the Boards especially against a tough minded smaller team. I would love for them to ramp up on there middle of the lane D their giving up way too many open drives they should be.

Well I've been watching the past two games and I seen a lot of body contact lot of feet Shuffling from both teams somewhat when they've been letting them play but if they file like they didn't is gonzaga's should be called and I seen a lot of place with Duke was getting bumped knocked off balance and they weren't calling fouls then so I don't respect them and do it now dude needs to come in with that state of mind

You must really hate Duke. Stats are deceiving for those of you who don't understand the game...foul count was Texas Tech 14 Duke 12. 7 of Duke's 17 FTs were at the end of game playing the foul game. Prior to Texas Tech being forced to foul, Duke actually had more fouls. Find a new hobby besides always assuming NCAA is fixing it for Duke.

Easy call to make on the zone, Texas Tech couldn’t shoot. All their buckets came from bumping off man on man and laying it up. Drive and dish to the open guy for 3 beats the zone, which was something Tech couldn’t do.

What a game! Wasn't able to watch a good chunk of it but got to see the last 3 minutes. I've been a Duke fan for years because Shavlik Randolph is a good family friend, so you can imagine I'm invested in this tourney lol. Congrats to Coach K on 100 wins and oh man let's see what happens Saturday
Looking back, this was the only time in my life that I had ever rooted for Duke. That's how much Coach K meant to College Basketball.
I've been watching and loving Duke for 35 years. And I hate to say this but I really hope that Carolina wins and Duke and UNC keep winning and meet in the finals. There would be nothing like it in the history of college ball with K retiring. Well, final four that is.
I've been a fan since the Dawkins/Alarie/Amaker years, and meeting UNC in the final 4 in Coach K's last year would be fitting.

You must really hate Duke. Stats are deceiving for those of you who don't understand the game...foul count was Texas Tech 14 Duke 12. 7 of Duke's 17 FTs were at the end of game playing the foul game. Prior to Texas Tech being forced to foul, Duke actually had more fouls. Find a new hobby besides always assuming NCAA is fixing it for Duke.

@@travisl9382 The numbers. Duke has ben awarded 47 foul shots in the tournament. Opponents 29. Conversely Texas Tech had fewer foul shots than the opposition 45-47. Some teams have to earn all their wins rather than having the crooked refs in their hip pocket.
If Duke comes out strong on Defense & makes the 3’s, they will be hard to beat.

Easy call to make on the zone, Texas Tech couldn’t shoot. All their buckets came from bumping off man on man and laying it up. Drive and dish to the open guy for 3 beats the zone, which was something Tech couldn’t do.
