That's why POEA main building is renamed after your grand lolo because he is that big, a jurassic of a politician that is extinct nowadays. as an OFW who works in the Gulf region for almost half of my life, we owe him a lot. I remember my Mom telling stories about how good a man and how intelligent he was. He was actually the ghost writer of Marcos (along with Kit Tatad) and my mom remembers how he would tell her how much he thinks highly of Marcos. Matalino daw. Blas Ople had so many writers that worked for him and yes, even artists such as Malang Santos. Just a bit of trivia, Carlo. I hope you’re reading this. Malang’s two sons are into NBA Cards. Si Mang Simon at si Mang Steve. Si Mang Steve had a massive stroke a few years ago so he aint active anymore. Nakakatuwa lang if you think about it, because it really is a small world, ano?
