Using this system is easier in a wide open bay with full visibility. In those areas I would use a TIC to scan anyways. What about in more confined spaces like the isles of a big box store or in attached office space? Maybe use it to cross large open areas to get to areas that need to be searched? I also wonder on the effectiveness of tying the crew to the main search line. It's one of those things that quickly becomes cumbersome and what started as a safety line to get put becomes a cumbersome entangled operation.
