After watching several hundred of your videos, this is the only one where I felt there was significant ambiguity or confusion. Particularly, the differences between low protein and high protein in terms of diagnosis/determination, cause and treatment wasn't clear enough and detailed enough. This critique aside, I very much appreciate all of the education that you provide, which literally has changed my life substantially for the better! :-)

Thank you Dr. Berg for explaining this. My moms lab work came back with high protein in the blood and she was worried. She mentioned to me that she had drank 4 bottles of water prior to her lab test to make sure she was hydrated enough for the blood draw. This explains why she came back with a high protein . The docs will retest her and I told her to not chug a lot of water and to go back to her normal water intake. Thanks for this video. I love your channel.

I was diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis in 2001. I commonly spill a couple grams of protein in my 24hr urine and at one point I had over 12 grams in a 24hr test. I changed my diet and in about 6 months I was under 1 gram a day.
The symptoms I get with low Albumin in my blood is swelling and I have stretch marks from retaining so much water very rapidly 40lbs in 2 weeks was my worst experience and I’ll have brain fog which becomes frustrating.
I use to eat bad and whatever I wanted to try and gain wieght bc I’m skinny. I was uneducated about nutrition and the proper way of going about gaining weight growing up.

Good Evening dr/ Berg from Egypt🇪🇬 I wanna ask you a question
A year and a half ago I had food poisoning therefore I took antibiotic for 3 months ,and it appeared that the antibiotic I had been taking caused for me an allergy that makes my skin swells .So after that I changed the medicine and I was cured .But since then I had been suffering from strange symptoms that continued for a year up till now , if I scratched my skin ,some thick swelling lines would appear with high tempreature and go away after 1 minute . I feel that my blood is so hot as well as feeling dizzy ,sleepy and nauseous all day long. After that I went to an immunity doctor to for a checkup .The doctor gave me an anti allergy medicine but the symptoms still won't go away .so I stopped taking the medicine.
Doctor Berg , please inform me about what should I do .

My AG ratio is 2.6. Is it a concern? A is 5 and G is 1.9. I do keto 20-4. Take about 120G of protein in 4hrs or so and do 3 day fasting every week.

I have mgus from myeloma which I'm trying to understand completely. Any help understanding it would be great. I get tested for myeloma every 4 to 6 months for over 4 yrs. I stopped anything with nitrates and etc. and most all sugar trying supplements and diet fasting. I keep my levels down very low. . But I have developed full body lymphedema ankylosing spondylitis and hyperthyroidism. And Nash . From the autoimmune problems. So I should be skinny but big by fluid. Sad face. What irony? Guess my question is ... Drum roll. Can you explain mgus to smoldering to multiple myeloma? How can I keep my blood protein in range? And are the other problems I'm having not auto immune diseases on their own separately but symptoms of the myeloma and the damage it's doing besides turning into full blown MM . Bc I work very hard to stay alive and moving around with a dance of food medicine and a lot of help from The Most High creator. Sry for the lengthy text and hope it makes sense bc I can't make sense of what is going on inside me

    Hey, Dr Eric.
I have been diagnosed with a protain reaction where by I get pink itchy hives all over my body. Please help me understand it's relevance to high protein and low protein in the blood strim. My dermatologist, inscribed some pred *2 a day to stop the reaction though sometimes. It's not enough. Please advise me.
