- Today, I taught my wife who to control the backhoe arm.
She had long wanted to learn how to control a backhoe.
It was a fun filming afternoon with lots of takes and lots of emotions :))
The whole process took about an hour and here I've extracted for you almost 12 minutes.

I have to say well done your wife seems to be a natural born JCB operator, she was steady in her control of the backhoe and always kept the bucket full, with more practice i think you've got competition there.
She's got everything working together after a day she will have it

Honestly? I've been operating crawler excavators for few years and your wife does way better than I did the first few times. Anyway, I love watching people operate construction equipment for the first time in their lifes, people always seem so incredibly careful
She is very beautiful and crafty indeed. Kudos to you to train her operating this JCB. Seeing this I also got idea how to operate a JCB

Full buckets , smooth with the boom , the machine does not jump like a grasshopper. She is hired. Make him a contract . ☺

I am used to backhoes with four sticks... it would take me a while to get used to joysticks. Is it an easy transition?
I started out on my dads 50B Massey with 4 sticks. I could never run it a smoothly as this. Well done.

The best teaching trick is to get here to bring the bucket in with the teeth just scratching the ground. Have her practise that and that will form the basis of all operations with the backhoe.
She's not begginer bro. Im heavy equipment operator too. She had a lot of experinece. She looks like amateur,but is proffesional. Look how she use comands,how calm. She's not even a little bit nervous. So relaxed for a girl in a heavy machinery ??? Nope. I swear she's expert on her job.

Raymond maby the hydrolics were piped up differently just like any 360 machine instead of the origional jcb 180 joy stick valved format because the 360 is easier to learn, but she's good I have to say,

Do you not take extra buckets with you? When I operated JCB 3CX or CAT 428 I took a grading bucket in the front shovel, this is normal practice in the UK and for 360° tracked excavators too. I like your videos 😃👍

I notice when youopn the stick a litle beforefilming opening the bucket. Most original buckets do not hit he boom, unless you have a fast hitch

I think that all of us heavy equipment operator s should let our better half's play with our tonka toy's,,,, so they can see whut we go through & understand why we sometimes come home 🏡 in a badmood sometimes,,, cuz of the pressure put on us 2produce a lot sometimes with our machines!!!!!!!!
You are perfectly right. Many may think it's easy, but there are days when you come home very tired. But in the end it's a beautiful job :)
