Florida really does have some fascinating beaches with some amazing places to hang out! There's little wonder why Florida is so highly regarded for its beauty! I would love to visit some day!
I lived there in '78.. And there was a great deal more to enjoy.. Things where starting to 'thin out' by the early 2000's.. Thing were "jump'n" in the late '70s.. Those were the days.. 😊
Daytona Beach is definitely the “touristy” beach/Boardwalk area. We like visiting some of the close by beaches that are a little less busy/more locals (like Ormond Beach where you are staying).
It’s a little disappointing, but at least we still got out and explored something new! After we left, we found some more stuff to explore. That’s for a different video though 😉
Everybody seems to go to Orlando nowadays for rides and amusements like Icon Park or Old Town Kissiminee,I guess rides just don't have the appeal in Daytona anymore..@@ThereToHereTravels
It was the weirdest thing! Especially on a holiday week! The woman in the shop that we bought our souvenirs from said that biker week is the busiest time of the year.
That's a beautiful beach . The arcade is nice place to spend time in. Enjoyed the boardwalk.
Thanks for watching!
nice place! Thank you very much for sharing, big like !
Thank you!

I want to move to Florida next year so bad. I am really getting tired of more people moving to East Tennessee I can't stand it.
That looks like a great time there!! Definitely gonna go check it out if I’m able to! Thanks for sharing!! 🙏
Thanks for watching!
Looks like a fun place to spend the day! I’ve never been to Daytona Beach before but hope to visit one day!
Thanks for watching!
Looks like an awesome boardwalk. The arcade looks like a blast. Reminds me of the Venice and Santa Monica Beach piers.
I don’t know, aside from the fact that there is a pier, it didn’t remind me much of Santa Monica at all Lol. Much more to do in Santa Monica!
Awesome tour. TY for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
It looks like a nice place to travel! I have always wanted to go there and see the beaches. So pretty! -Cady
Thanks for watching!

We really enjoyed Ormond Beach! It was more of our scene.
Perfect beach in a sunny day😍 Love the sky and vibrant vibes out there
Thank you so much!
Boardwalk was enjoyable. The beach is maintained so clean. Also looks like a nice place for some shopping and entertainment.
Thanks for watching!
Cool video, I might have to head to Florida next time I'm in the states
Florida has some really cool places!
Sad that the rides are no longer there! The beach is beautiful!
It was a very pretty beach!
We had a similar experience with the Boardwalk at Cape Canaveral. We just expected there to be more there.
It’s a little disappointing, but at least we still got out and explored something new! After we left, we found some more stuff to explore. That’s for a different video though 😉
Beach looks beautiful. Too bad it wasn’t as fun as you thought it would be. It still looks like the arcade was fun.
We did have a good time getting away and exploring something new! We found a lot more fun after we left, but that’s for another video 😉
Sad there isnt as much to do and see but still looked like a fun spot for good souvenirs. Mmmm fried Oreos?
We definitely missed our fried Oreos 😂😂 we found a lot more fun stuff to do after. We save that for another video though.😉
at counter 1:35 That is called (with big gaffes) that is Bidennomics
I wonder if I can still walk the boardwalk at my age lol.
It’s not a difficult walk at all! Tried to look for an access point without stairs if you have difficulty with them.
I like the Myrtle Beach boardwalk better and Wildwood is just your classic, wonderful boardwalk.
Agreed!

I guess you are right. I wish they would do something else with the space. Maybe they can draw new visitors in.
I’m our town a quarter gets you an hour!!
And we probably only needed a half hour there 🤦♀️😂
The beach looks really nice, but the place was dead. I wouldn't have expected that either!
It was the weirdest thing! Especially on a holiday week! The woman in the shop that we bought our souvenirs from said that biker week is the busiest time of the year.
it certainly was very quiet! hardly a soul around!
Yeah, it was a little weird lol. Especially on a holiday week.
There are some fun things in Daytona. However, it’s no where close to being my favorite beach in Florida.
Boardwalk was not what we were hoping for, but we found a lot of other things to do in the area!
