I love the Hobobe!! I have a 7-year-old and a 2-month-old... I had very much gotten used to not carrying a diaper bag, and I loved it, so the Hobobe, for me, is an awesome in-between. As far as the mommy pocket goes, I usually attach the fob to a set piece and put what I need in there, tuck it inside when I don't need in it and pull it out when I do, so I'm not trying to blindly dig around... Works like a charm!!
I bought a HBB and couldn't pack it so I sold it.... then had immediate sellers regret and bought another one. Now I love it! I think once your daughter gets a little older and you need to carry less the mommy pocket will work better for you!

I love this print I have it in ABFF but I learned don't really like the BFFS as backpacks at all. I only use it like a ... kinda reninds me of the much missed better be!
I love my HBB! I have the Sakura Swirl that I currently am using as a purse! But I also am able to just throw a diapering quick in it with diapers, change pad and a change of clothes in it for my 16 mo old son for those quick trips out (I do usually have my Classy or BRB in the car)
I’ve found if you lay a change oh clothes flat on the bottom it takes up pretty much no extra room. Also the more you put on and take off the strap the easier it gets. Ones it’s broken in it can come on and off super easily. I have a super old worn in hbb and I love it so much more than my new crispy one.
I couldn’t with the mommy pocket on this bag either. I thought I liked the style of the HBB the best-but I ended up selling and and buying a Be Sassy-and I hadn’t ever even considered that style-but it packs up so much better as a purse or diaper bag for me.
I took the strap off completely and attached the same seatbelt strap for my quick trips and carry the longer seatbelt strap in the pocket to throw on and carry messenger style whenever I want.

Same I'm really thinking about trying another one so I'm definitely going so I'm definitely going to take in a situation your opinion and see if I can see what a few other people do. I bought a pro Robbie in one of the rose gold colors.. I think it was sakura swirl and also sold my other rosegold .. whim watercolors... Yes they are beautiful but I just don't have all the money to go by another few $100 of quicks and sets and dappers and paci pods... Love this print though, I have it in baby classy and in brb and coinpurse and pacipod, so cute with black beauty be charged and mix and match be sets... Also love it with kings court and queens court... Then the rest of it is all hello Kitty and toki doki... If I do decide to get one I am just loving this print in HhBB

I use mine as just a purse. I've always taken off the strap that the hobobe came with. It's too short to work as a cross body for my chunky body. Most of the time I buy the sold separately messenger strap or one of the seatbelts straps I've purchased. When I declutter the bag the sold separately strap goes with it as I usually get rid of the old strap.
ktreb SD I honestly don’t know who the included strap would be long enough for! I’m 5’5 with a relatively small frame and it’s too small for crossbody on me, too!

I love the hobobe for quick trips with my kids, I wish it could be my everyday bag but it’s just too small for 2 or more kids in diapers! But the other one has just I can fit a good amount of stuff in there like it extra pocket ...about the same as any of the inside pockets And yes hands down the best mommy pocket ever

Try loading the mommy pocket 1st. I could fit my wallet in there with a tablet (in a kid case), wireless keyboard, and my 1" thick planner plus diapering needs. I use it as my purse for every day and keep a pod full of stuff for the kids and refill as needed through the day.
I love the hbb. Perfect size. I pack way less than you though. I don't bother with most of what you find essential. Try more minimal packing in the main part then you'll find the front pocket perfect.

Try it mama! You can fit a medium set piece in there nicely if it's not jam-packed.

Have you tried folding the clothes and layering them on the bottom of the bag? I’ve done that with my twins before. It works pretty well.

I use thinner sweat pants or leggings, but my twins are girls. Boys are a bit harder, their clothes are usually thicker.
