The two Lenny's were in quite the predicament. In a rather bizarre change of pace the two had quite the peaceful week. They had pretty much done nothing save drink out their entire stock of homebrew "Spice Whiskey Blends" Numbers through 1 to 100, however, they were now faced with yet another challenge. One which would truly tear the fabrics of spice space and time; one which would push the two to their true limits.
Getting a PS5.
"It's coming up in a few seconds for the pre-order now! Don't mess this up!" ZeroLenny™ was confident, bottle of champagne ready to pop in hand.
The clock struck midnight.
"Alright! Here we go matey!"

My first and so far only challenge run was a „use what you see“ dark souls run, in which I had to throw away my current whenever I found a new equipment of that type. It taught me how to parry...
My First Challenge Run was a Soulsery only run and i somehow beat it even though I didn't even knew Crystal spells are a thing

Hey Lenny, I just completed a SL1 run of my own thanks to this vid and it was a blast. Keep it spicy!
Ds1 level 1 run is actually fun. The other 2 well lololol
DS3 is fine at SL1, you can actually take a hit or two, lloyd's rings and defense working in percentages helps a fair amount, as well as the raw infusion. SL1 DS2 is just a chore because of how weak you are, and DeS SL1 is really tedious because everything just instagibs you
It's only bearable because you don't have to level a stat to get max i-frames
I'd say DS2 SL1 is the least enjoyable thing I've ever done in a game*. Mainly because of how few s you have (which really exemplifies how awful DS2 hitboxes are) and how long estus takes to drink. In the base game it's never tooooo bad IMO, and the 'main' DLC bosses aren't ludicrously difficult, but the optional DLC bosses are terrible. The gank squad is exactly what you think (an incredibly unfair gank), the blue smelter has awful hitboxes and offers approximately no time to heal, and while Lud/Zallen themselves are actually relatively fine, the area leading up to them is nightmarish (I don't know how long I was doing Luz/Zallen for, but I'd assume maybe 4-5 hours, and I'd estimate I reached the bossroom about 8 times lmao)
Even without the (debatably) OP pyromancy, DS1 SL1 is great fun, as is DS3 SL1 (obviously just an opinion), probably because the difficulty in those runs doesn't come from ridiculous, unfair bullshit. DS2 SL1 has completely put me off doing any challenge runs for what I reckon will be quite a while, despite me really enjoying DS1 and 3 at SL1.
This is coming from someone who really likes DS2, by the way.
*Might not be entirely accurate, since I have played Need for Speed 2015
@@odrithingamajig i also enjoy ds2 and also hate horse fuck valley lol. For all its faults i think it has the best variety of builds in the series and i wish power stance had moved forward.
@@feircy Definitely, power stancing and the build variety are the best bits of DS2. Despite it being my least favourite Souls game, it's the one I've played the most, and I'd say that's most likely due to how free you are to do whatever stupid shit you want build-wise lmao

Pro tip for Sl1 runs. Andre sells axes that can be used by the pyromancer. Make a max lvl axe for each element type and you are golden.
instead of axes i like to make reinforced clubs. i just like the heavy attack more, you can even combo 2 jumping attacks back to back. the axe is also good, but i think RC is a solid choice as well.

@@jmvt3 well yeah, the underd merchant (the uchigatana guy) sells them. so you can have as many as you want... the best part is, each costs only 350 souls.
