In this video we continue the progress on the daily driver silverado. When I bought it the rear window on the passenger side would not roll down. Instead of buying just the motor I decided to buy the regulator and the motor as one part. In this video I show you how to replace the window motor and regulator in a silverado. This process will be the same for gmc seirra and chevy tahoe and gmc yukon. It is easy to do and does't require many tools. If your window won't roll down in your silverado or sierra this is probably the issue. If it doesn't roll up it could also be the problem. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

Man that window regulator kit is nice. I had to replace my window regulators in my 94 TA... And it was kinda a pain because I had to drill out the factory rivets and after I installed the new regulators I used 10mm nuts and bolts instead of riveting it back in place and there isn't much room to work in. Your truck has alot more to work around...
Yeah fbody ones suck!!!
Thanks!
Great video man love the how to
Thank you Daniel
Nice! I’ll be doing this as well in a few days. Thanks Travis.
Thank you. Hopefully it helps
Great video, I need to do this on my 04 rcsb Silverado so great timing lol
Thank you. Hopefully it helps
Nice I have to replace mine too , hey are you going to lower the truck in the future if you do man I’m so down to see a video of it .
Thank you. I am going to lower it after interior
Just a little tip, next time leave window all the way up, tape it, loosen clamps that grip window, plug in switch and move the clamps down ("roll down" window), remove regulator, install new one, loosen clamps, plug in switch and "roll" the regulator upto the glass. Saves time and hassle with the glass.
That would have worked too. Be nice to have 2 people lol. Thanks for the tip.
They probably made some improvements on the new design to make it last longer
Probably
Is that plastic liner really needed? Knowing how you like things neat and tidy, I’m surprised you reused it. (Once again, another great video! ‘preciate all that you do!)
It keeps dirt and dust out actually
Good late Thursday evening Travis. I'm just getting home from work and catching your video on your daily driver truck..
Welcome home
Question I have a 93 chevy silverado and I'm going to do a bleeding brakes and I'm confused, do you do with engine on or off?
Off bro
Off
I assume you tested the window from the drivers door switch panel.
Great video.
Thanks for posting.
I did just not on video. Thank you
Nice job man, I would like to know if you have any tips for making the windows move faster, because mine are a little bit slow.
I wish I did but no. They are slow.
Your videos are great and educational. Always learning something 👍
Thank you very much
Great job Travis. Thanks for the informative video. I love to see these diy repairs. Enjoy your weekend and relax with the family.
Thank you Larry
Glass suction handles from harbor freight make that job so much easier!
I didn't even know that had them
🙌🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼
👍thank you
Great how too video. What's the latest on the trucks for sale?
Sonoma I think is sold. Obs and red truck still up for sale. My Dad kinda wants the red one though
I never reused my plastic with all that black glue I'm not driving my TA in the rain so I decided not to reinstall the plastic...
Keeps a lot of dust out too
@@TWAMotorsports good Friday morning Travis. Have a safe weekend and I'll catch you Monday night when I get home from work to see your next video 🇺🇲🤙👍
Thank you man. You too
Nice fix! Had to do this on my ‘06 crew cab as well. I love how there’s no re-initialization you have to do after installing the new one, just plug and play!
You have any idea where to get a good set of oem rubber floor mats for these crew cab trucks? I notice you always seem to have some in your NBS trucks. Or if you have an extra set laying around for the same color interior as this one, let me know how much you want for them. Thanks Travis!
Thank you. These are from a 2017 I bought and don't fit well at all(at least the passenger side front) they are stock 2017 and not great but better than nothing.
Great video!!! Helped son- in-law change the rear passenger side on his 2011 GMC Sierra, cable had broken and window slid all the way down. ✌
Thank you
Excellent video!
Thank you
Another great video. Keep up the great work.
Thank you Kyle
