I watched him live at the Ohio State Tournament when he was a FRESHMAN in Division 1. He majored a kid in the 1st place match. His brother Joey is a 3x champ too. These Ohio boys don’t mess around
Congrats to Blaze. However, there is a big difference in physical development in those few years of age gap. Ramos, the NCAA #1, should've had a huge chip on his shoulder going into this and for him to lose is embarrassing.
@OtisMoto I agree. I don't think Blaze will wrestle 125 in college. However, Ramos has 4 extra years of coaching, 4 extra years of drilling, 4 extra years of weight room, and the accolades of being an NCAA finalist. If anyone said he'd be bested by a high schooler 6 months ago, they'd be laughed at.
the fact that he can beat spencer lee with a shot in the dark fluke and then lose to a highschooler shows that record doesnt always make up a wrestlers entire skill level. spencer lee might have lost that one match but his legacy led on alot longer than mr ramos here losing to a highschooler. congrats to blaze.
@@jacksonwagener5626 yeah im not trying to discredit blaze whatsoever, im more discrediting ramos cause the skill gap between high school level and college level is supposed to be alot more vast than it seems in this match, even flo was surprised when ramos couldnt manage to handle high school level bottom game for more than 10 seconds.
Some “high schoolers” are special. How many college kids do you think Cael would beat back in the day? Probably all of them. Let’s see how Blaze does in the future. Clearly he’s damn good.

I hate to say it, but he should transfer to Penn State because Cael knows how to get wrestlers to their full potential.
