Thank you so very much! 👌 This is so useful. Our LA haven't even mentioned anything to us (yet) but it's good to track this early on then it doesn't feel like such a massive task. I'll put this into action for sure xxx ✍
Thank you for this! Really helpful as our LA didn’t give us much direction. I’ve just been writing in notebooks for our learning, so think I’m going to transfer and continue with how you’ve set out. Feel like our learning log is going to be so huge as have been on hold to start stage 2 for 2 months so far!
I have read a lot of books but not made notes so not sure if i will remember everything. I have made a reference to what I have read but didn’t know I would need to makes notes. Will this go against us?
Hi Katie. Every agency or local authority is different - don’t panic! Some don’t require learning logs or notes. Our agency did and told us about it from our first meeting so we knew to keep track. It may be worth asking your social worker - if they haven’t mentioned it yet then chances are you might not be required to do one 👍🏻
@@MollyMamaAdopt we haven’t started stage one yet so don’t have a social worker. We’re waiting for a response from the agency now they have received our ROI paperwork. Not sure how long that will be so just wanted to be prepared.
@@katierippon6106 it’s always good to be prepared 😀 writing down what you’ve already read won’t do any harm even if you have no notes! Fingers crossed it won’t be long for you 😀
Hi Molly, Podcasts are not something I’ve ever been into before but I’d like to start as a learning source. Can you please point me in the direction of some good podcast sources as I don’t even know how to find them? TIA

Hi Carl. Of course! My favourites are Adoption Adventures, The Adoption & Fostering Podcast and BBC Radio 4 ‘The Adoption’ 👍🏻
