Probably not gonna get an answer but I'm using my Dio for stunts I have mallosi 70cc kit and some carb mods but as I understand Dio comes with CDI limiter and I can't find an unrestricted CDI what are my options
Hey buddy. Depending on where you live there are lots of option. TWH, BGM, Daytona, CF Posh, srage 6, and more all make CDI for Dio which will suit you. If you check online you there will surely be a shop who can send one to you 👍
Hey mate I'm very impressed with the performance of your Dio af25. Wanted to ask you a question about the 47mm JISO stroker crank. Does it require case cutting? (I know you did your boost port) just wondering if case cutting is required. Also do you think it would run well with 50mm cylinder, 26mm carb and yms V8 28mm pipe. Thanks for the help mate.
In answer to your question, yes, there is a little bit of cutting required to fit the crank but it's really minimal around 1mm-2mm but I don't remember exactly. As for your question about 50mm, I have recently had a 50mm cylinder customised to fit the 47mm crank and was told by the guy who made the cylinder that it would work great with a 47mm. I'm currently using a 9mm aluminium base gasket to get the piston at the correct heights. It's hard to say about your carbs but here in Thailand people tend to use really big carbs. If you're in a cooler climate, 26 might be ok 👍

If you don't want to cut the case, you can go with 44mm crank and 50mm cylinder kit. That's about as big as you can go but the boost port will still need opening out depending on what cylinder you go for.
Unfortunately not. Not all the racing classes are about being the fastest. Some are focussed on hitting a precise time. Other classes have certain restrictions like only V8 pipes, only full frame/panels etc. An example of a common "fast" time here for Dio would be around 7.1-7.3 @ 201m.
