It's so funny. Everytime I see a scene from this show (which I still love to bits) nowadays, I can't help but think: "Whoa, look! It's Bruce Willis before he became Bruce Willis!"
I still remember all these scenes and I haven't seen then since each of the episodes were aired on on their first run! And I was only like 10 years old! Such a great show.
I know that not everyone love the 80s, but...this serie was fun, they had that "chemistry" and made us laugh :D a lot and what's better than that????? The thing is ... today i remembered this episodes and that's a sign that fun moments are always nice to pop in to our minds...just enjoy them!!!
Wow we had great vocabulary in the 80's. The dumbing down of today's is really pathetic. I loved this show and it brings back such great memories. Everything has completely deteriorated today. How sad.
Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess, "Will you marry me?" The Princess said, "No!!!" And the Prince lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and dated skinny long-legged full-breasted women and hunted and fished and raced cars and went to naked bars and dated ladies half his age and drank whiskey, beer and Captain Morgan and never heard bitching and never paid child support or alimony and dated cheerleaders and kept his house and ate spam and potato chips and beans and blew enormous farts and never got cheated on while he was at work and all his friends and family thought he was cool as hell and he had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up. The End
What other show could be Three Stooges stupid funny and blow us away with great drama. MOONLIGHTING was in different orbit. Awesome & my favorite show ever.
I just noticed in that last one they were "fake kissing". When she grabbed him and started kissing him, his lips would have been somewhere in the vicinity of her left cheek. LOL
We don't help murderers. The first case in the series was helping a murderer that was dying. They often helped murderers...sure they didn't start out to do it...but it sometimes ended that way.
@tall32guy they almost got together in the beginning of the series :) it probably got more difficult at the end of the series. But the chemistry is incredible!! i would watch this series over and over again
I just watched this because my mom loved this show before she died in the 80s. . It seems to me Hepburn and Tracy did the same thing only much better . .. and before them, Beatrice and Benedick.
Well, it's said that Cybil Shepherd's work-ethic was less-than-stellar and she's to be held responsible for some of the show's infamous production delays, while Bruce Willis let his (ultimately successful) aspirations of movie-stardom get to his head towards the end of the series. Both were major points of friction between the two stars, as well as between the two of them and the production staff.
They didn't hate each other. Cybil, Bruce, and producer/writer Glenn Gordon Caron fought, but mostly because the scripts were always late, overly long, and production was always trying to piece the show together at the last minute. It was a pressure-cooker. Shepherd also had to evolve from being the big movie star to being a straight man for Willis. In the end, they were able to juggle the work and egos for two and a half years before Cybil's pregnancy (twins), Bruce's movie career, and writers leaving contributed to the quality slipping. Still, those first three seasons were incredible.
Aye I love that show in da 80'$ I was a yung ninja then Cybil Sheppard was my CoCo bacc then. And who would have thought that Demi Moore would be his x wife.
I remember this show. I use to watch this growing up in the 80s, but l don't remember seeing the last season, but l do remember David and Maddie getting together. I don't think l seen the last episode either. Can someone please feel me in? Did David and Maddie ever get married?

Knew Bruce would be a huge success!!
Their back and forth is what I loved so much about this show. They were Sam Malone and Diane Chambers to the extreme. :)))))

She was hot. I felt in love when I first saw her in Taxi Driver

They should do a reboot of this show. I would love to see how David and Maddie are doing now.
Did you wach "Idiocracy"? More and more accurate.
Bruce Willis had innate great comic timing skills - even so early in his career.
An iconic actor such as Bruce Willis happens once in a generation. Thank you.
With all that smooching they'll never have time to solve the Anselmo case.

The End
"Look, Maddie, alright it was my fault. Mea culpa, alright? Robert Culp-a."
"Mea culpa. All right, Robert Culp-a."
This Robert Culp from ,,Columbo'' ?
btw cybill is so cute, and they make lovely couple.. what a romance..
Sheppard reads like a stand-in at a B-movie audition. But nice to look at.
What other show could be Three Stooges stupid funny and blow us away with great drama. MOONLIGHTING was in different orbit. Awesome & my favorite show ever.
Mulder and Scully: The Early Years
omg did you also read that this show inspired Chris Carter?😂😂
@@khs_fan No, I was just being a smart ass
It's interesting how they seemed to have such good chemistry in the show but in real life they had a hard time getting along...
I am 90's kid but I am love with this show
I'm 00's kid and i love the show so much
"This hot air is fogging my lenses."
she is abusing him and she complains about a man hitting a woman, it works both ways u dont mistreat men, or women
Thank you , it means a lot . ;-)))

You cut out the part where Maddie makes David call the secretary he was ogling and he starts flirting with her! LOL

Classic TV Show Without Commercials
When Bruce Willis was sexi....now he's just a brute.
I just watched this because my mom loved this show before she died in the 80s. . It seems to me Hepburn and Tracy did the same thing only much better . .. and before them, Beatrice and Benedick.
It was very popular back then. Of course, the big thing to remember about this is that they hated each other in real life! They did not get on at all!
so what
Are you sure ?

The bit with the phone call from his Mom...she has an iron lung...
not funny.
Come on. Funny. That’s the way the show was.
No laugh Tracks
Of course not.
It wasn't a straight up comedy or sitcom.
Not even close...
Gal with hijab hmm
Why is he driving her car? Oh, right...because he's male.
💩
Oh, shutup Karen.
She drives the car most of the time, if you'd bother to look.
@@cjs7553 Sorry to have offended you which seems easily done. I have watched every season and know how often he drove.
They taught old people to be loud and dramatic, I see this in the last generation alot. Complete brainwash it's not cute at all
And I see in the younger generation a lot of pompous sanctimony thinking they’re so superior to previous ones.
@@iwillstom in every aspect in every time from the beginning of time
Jesus this was at one time considered good tv? So bad.
I guess you like j,biever or Miley ciruos.
