At the age of 14, I realized that pain has a purpose: it tells you to get your hand off the flame. Pain around the world means that something is wrong with the entire planet. At that tender age, I sort of put everything (including high school) on the back burner in order to find out why the world is in such turmoil. Yet, I did not trust anyone to guide me, as each person seems to have their own version of 'the truth.' However, I knew that nature was connected to what I called the 'highest reality.' I have discovered heaven. I know it may sound like some strange hyperbole, but I have perfect happiness - and I am not even in paradise yet. I am 'seated in the heavenlies', even while going through the difficulties of this life. I now know the truth. That is because the 'Truth' is a person, Jesus Christ - and He is my best friend. Moreover, He is the Creator of all things. Heaven is perfect: no liars and no thieves! Do you see the problem? If you have ever lied and stolen, you are not worthy of it. Yet, Jesus died on a Cross so that we may be born again, made brand new. We can know God. Indeed, we were created for friendship with Him. I hope that you will get to know your Creator! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
Met a man today, 87 years old, who was forced from his home in Poland to work at the age of 5 years old for the Nazi's in Germany. He was so full of grace and patience and you could tell that he had seen the worst of mankind, yet wore the grace and strength that comes from seeing the worst, so that everything else that happens in an ordinary life is "piece of cake". Theme from Schindler's List was reverberating in my ears the whole time we were talking. What a man!
I think this is the best version I’ve heard not only because of how technically perfectly it was played, but the slower speed encapsulates more of the emotion. And I feel like with this song it’s IMPERATIVE.
I was going to make a similar comment. I've heard performers absolutely ruin this wonderfully haunting piece but this is not one of them. Still maybe not quite the depth of feeling of Issac Perlman's original but I totally agree that slower is better here. What a find.
One thing that will always stay with me from 'Schindler's List' is what Oskar Schindler says despite saving so many from the Holocaust: "I could've got one more person, and I didn't. And I didn't!" An amazing rendition of this beautiful theme. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing.
Dear Ellen, you played it with such profound feelings and emotions. You make even the heavenly angels cry. I've never heard it played so beautifully until now. The movie and piece is near and dear to me and now it resonates more deeply within my heart. Thank you ever so kindly. God bless you. 🙏🏻❣️🙏🏻
So different from Itzhak Perlman's original version, yet so profound and sad... one of the best renditions of this piece I have ever heard. Congratulations!
Who ever is the person that first crafted the violine literally gave the instrument a soul. You can literally hear her the violin Crying as she plays. And the only time I have ever heard a violine weeping more than this was getting a chance to see the people at the Holocaust museum play the instruments that were lucky enough to survive the horrors of those years
I cry every time I listen this beautiful music… We shouldn’t forget our history… Amazing performance by Ellen. Unforgettable film by Spielberg, one of the best one so far 😥😥😥
It is my absolute belief that this is the greatest movie ever made - and the score is a huge part of that. This is 100% perfect - no one could have done a better job 😢💔
The most difficult scene for me from Schindler’s List is seeing the little boy trying find a place to hide, being denied by his fellow Jews, and he winds up taking the plunge into the bathroom 🚽 down into the sewer where all the 💩 is 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Violin cries in memory of lost innocent Jewish souls murdered senselessly.. that music .. the first sound of the violin bring those overwhelming emotions and tears pouring and it hurts ! Beautifully performed .. heartbreaking history and one of the greatest performances.. Never again ! Never forget ! Peace on earth!
As much as I dislike admitting it (I adore Itzhak Perlman), I prefer her playing of this hauntingly beautiful piece. The gut wrenching emotion pouring from her violin is masterful. Brava, Ms. Klodova.
Words alone cannot describe the talent of producing this rendition of this piece of music. I have been watching TH-cam for years and this is by far the greatest clip I have ever seen ! There's so much emotion in the sound of this music, I cannot think what can top this! Absolutely fantastic.
WOW!! Everything about this video and your playing is perfect in my opinion. Your amazing bow hand, your relaxed and effortless left hand, intonation, expression, dynamics, tempo staying true yet expressive. you don't exaggagerate your body and facial expressions (its not an act, your feeling is authentic). I was mesmorised by this performance. For me, this is the benchmark for me to strive toward. WOW!! I am a big fan.
I seldom listen to renditions because I end up comparing them to the original and be disappointed, but you played this with such profound beauty I'm sure even Itzhak Perlman would appreciate it.
Touching! I love Schindler's List, both the movie and the soundtrack. Although I am from Russia, I do not support the war! Peace to our peoples! Peace on earth!
Your people senselessly kill Ukrainians now .. same horrible way Hitler murdered my brothers and sisters and innocent babies in Auschwitz.. this violin cried for murdered innocent Jewish souls … 6mln of them
I can here this piece, especially in the rendition of this magnificent interpretation on and on, and always experience a transformation going on in the depth of my heart.
Such a beautiful sound, and the visuals to go with it have such an artistic quality, such beauty and grace. It makes me calm to listen and I felt this was filmed to be put right into a beautiful movie
I've watched this terribly tragic and truly breathtaking film, on more than one or two occasions and it never ceases to amaze me, at mans inhumanity to man. The the music overwhelms me in it intensity and the emphatic notes of it combined, with the beauty of the story telling, are more strong than any words i can give or put into written word.
Never in my life have I been so moved by a piece of music which so perfectly tells the story , brilliantly composed , but I wish it was never needed to be written at all .
Very beautiful playing on your violin, you're one of the absolute best in your interpretation of this music. Makes me cry every time I hear it.. best of luck to you!! :)
Many could have put a video camera up in the studio and called it a day,the fact you chose an empty street was really very powerful imagery coinciding with the music. It's gut wrenching thinking back to those times when the streets were busseling soon to be emptied leading up to unimaginable atrocities, yes we should never forget but we need to accept and forgive as well.
You captured the essence of this song and once again I cried. Tears insist on coming out of my eyes every time I hear the Theme from Schindler's List. You performed so well. Keep up the good work, dear. You rock! Thanks for sharing with us.
The most heart breaking song i know of off hand and one of the most beautiful. I am a man who seldom sheds a tear for music but this one causes a flood of emotions.
Amazing how many people are touched by this and still there are so many people on this planet on the run today. And so many others who don't want them let in their country.
played so incredibly beautifully 🥹. my grandfather was shot in his kitchen by the Nazis in World War II. for me and my family the song is something special.. you made it even more special. thank you for this incredible moment.🤗
That humans could invent and play such a beautiful piece gives me eternal hope.
Jesus gave eternal hope by dyeing on the cross for our sins. Accept Him.

We have Russia to thank for our freedom. Never forget that.
Do you know Angel Sanz Brizz? He saved 2.000 people more than Schindler in Budapest, but Spielberg didnt make him a movie... 🙂
I'm surprised they allowed him to work the nazis had no use for children especially that young most of the time they were sent straight to the gas
I think this is the best version I’ve heard not only because of how technically perfectly it was played, but the slower speed encapsulates more of the emotion. And I feel like with this song it’s IMPERATIVE.
Absolutely read my mind!
Completely agree !

Shalom et paix en se jour mémorial 😢
Just lovely, she makes the violin cry for all of the lost souls.
❤😢so well said!!!!
Thanks for this beautiful song

Same
OS sacrificed his wealth for the whole of mankind.
I'm starting to believe this..
This tune no matter who plays it always gives my eyes a good washing out 😢,in memory of all the jews and poles who suffered and died 😢😢.
I couldn't listen without crying. How can there be such beautiful playing! Truly soul touching.
You're not Human if this piece doesn't make you cry.
You can hear the utter sense of hopelessness and i don’t know what to do in her rendition of this haunting piece.. she plays it perfectly
😢😢😢😢....beyond beautiful playing, beyond beautiful tune.....i love violin and cello music as its so emotional 😢😢😮😢😢😢😢
Amazing. The best performance I've ever seen. So humble and elegant. The violin cries.
Dear Ellen, you played it with such profound feelings and emotions. You make even the heavenly angels cry. I've never heard it played so beautifully until now. The movie and piece is near and dear to me and now it resonates more deeply within my heart. Thank you ever so kindly. God bless you. 🙏🏻❣️🙏🏻

Wunderbar gespielt!
Undoubtedly this is the very best rendition of this most sacred song. Well done Ellen ❤
The harmony with the harp towards the piano at the end is particularly beautiful, different to so many other interpretations. Love it.
Hermoso.
Ellen, you played Schindler's List with the Angel's on each side of you!!!! Tears flowing down my eyes.
As much as I dislike admitting it (I adore Itzhak Perlman), I prefer her playing of this hauntingly beautiful piece. The gut wrenching emotion pouring from her violin is masterful. Brava, Ms. Klodova.

It’s sad yet beautiful

The most beautiful version I have ever Heard… outstanding.
All that makes me think is: “I could have got one more…”. Very well-played!
“She who saves one life, saves the world entire.”
Mr. Angel Sanz-Briz said the same. He saved 1.900 people more than Schindler in Budapest.
One of the best covers to this I have ever heard. A job very very well done. 👏
Dear Ellen, your interpretation is fantastic and when you play, you speak to the soul and the tears flow. Congratulations.
Juste...SUBLIME!
Touches my heart every time. Beautiful interpretation.
Dear Ellen, exceptional talent and impeccable notes. Please never stop making violin videos.
