Drawing and sketching are totally different things. You don't need to know drawing to become a designer. But we should know sketching, and we can gradually learn it.
Placement chances are equal for every NIFtian. We will get Placement depends on how strong our portfolio is and the performance of the interview. Companies select candidates for interviews based on their portfolios, and the second round will be an interview. And portfolio-worthy works are somewhere dependent on faculties. So it's better to select the campus according to the department you are looking for, which has good faculties. Basically, what I meant was that every campus has a good department and a weak department as well. For example, the AD department is very good in Bhubaneswar, but the FD is not. Every campus has these kinds of weaknesses and strengths when you know the campus deeply. Select accordingly.
