I got this watch, coming from a Mi Watch Color (first version, but CN region) This watch is definitely an upgrade, but I've noticed a few annoyances. Heart rate has no true continuous option. Smart only measures once every 1-15 minutes, setting it to 1m changes that graphs from dots to ranges because it starts measuring more, but even the ol Mi Watch had true continuous HR tracking that was always on (you can check that the green lights stop flashing very often) Also, a big one, I'd like to ask you about. You mentioned the Xiaomi Watch 2 has "accurate" sleep tracking, that lined up with your Oura ring 3? Do you mind sharing a bit about that. I can't find a video where you talked about it further. Because one letdown I've had is that the sleep tracking seems to show something that would not be very usual for a human sleep pattern, where my old Mi Watch showed Deep sleep early in the night, and REM later, as it should be. This watch shows lots of deep sleep late into the morning, and a lot of REM early, in this random pattern. And that's usually not how sleep works, but I am hoping you have some interesting data!
This was the first video I have watched yours very good review overall so nicely explained almost everything the thing which I really liked about your review more that you gave comparison with other watches too.
It will be interesting to see a comparison of this Xiaomi Watch 2 vs the TicWatch Pro 5 in battery life etc as I'm considering the Tic watch PRIMARILY because of not needing to charge it every coupla days (my preference will to have always on display & all the health tracking features off). Basically, I want a good smart watch that'll take calls and provide message notifications. I DID consider the Huawei group of watches just because they can do that and the EXCELLENT battery life too... 🤔😏 😎🇬🇧
Will Alexa work with the watch 2, I know it's on the S3 and both these watches are in my budget, just can't decide which I prefer. Great videos though.

The difference is that even the old pixels and galaxys are updated to WearOS 4 and Xiaomi will probably never update to wearOS 4 if they released it now with and old OS They will abandon it and force you to buy a new model in 2025. thay is their strategy.

I'm using this watch since yesterday. It's battery life sucks now. I hope it'll improve over charge cycles. I have an issue with green sensor (heart rate) if i use custom watchfaces like Watchmaker or Facer, the sensor works continuously. I think watchfaces forced to get heart rate and it drains battery too much. So i block the permissions to sensor for the watchface apps but also i want to see the heart rate by pressing a button. Is there a watch face like that?
I have a problem with the microphone with this watch, it works with whatsapp or vocal messages but when I am in a call they cannot hear me... Does someone have some suggestion please?
@@ChigzTech I think the problem is not due to the apps are not updated, while the xiaomi watch camera app just does not compatible with the Samsung phone camera app. Different manufacturer camera apps are not support each other.
The main difference is a different material (metal alloy) and a knob. Remember that 2 Pro can be both Bluetooth and LTE, while 2 is only Bluetooth. I've had 2 PRO LTE for a few days now, I don't use esim yet.

I would choose the GW6 Classic for the design, rotating Bezel, slimmer, better software and similar battery life.
