  • I turned to my journal at a time I was really struggling to keep my head above water. Here are the steps I took to get out of it.

    Maaaan.... the most UNDERrated TH-camr right here. I have gained more from your videos since I came across you 12 hours ago, than I have anyone else that I've followed for years. Great content, and no nonsense. I have found value in each video of yours that I have watched so far.

      Michael, thanks man! I really appreciate those kind words and i'm glad you get something out of these vids.

    I might sound like a bigot here, but I’m really glad to see an adult giving this kind of life advice and not a 20 year old. Your thinking and explanations are clear - Like someone who has experience and been through some stuff (not a college kid who hasn’t paid a bill yet).

      Who told you I wasn't 20? 😂 ...Thanks for the complement. I appreciate you.

    Great concepts and explanations. Clearly, you have experience which adds authenticity to all that you presented in this video. Well done.

    Jay thank you so much for this video I found it very helpful. I like the fact that your video is hands-on teaching and not just general motivation. Thank you again 🙏

    (almost) lifelong journaler here. Been bullet journaling for a couple years and that was a game changer. Wishing the Yoob algorithm hadn't taken so dang long to show me your video here; but, on the bright side, I had the insight to view it today and for that I am grateful! I am going to try to modify my current journal today as it is an annual one with a vision and goals and keywords. I love your habit tracker method. I'm a coach myself. New subscriber as of today. Thank you thank you thank you for this guidance!!

      @@jaydwilliams 😀thank you for your reply! I did manage to modify my custom mod 2024 BuJo for habit tracking. It's definitely going to have to be a habit stack for me, since now that I have a dozen or so in one place, I'm very aware of how I'm not doing them all, all the time. But what a helpful thing to know. 😉

    I love ur take on the bullet journal. That is more practical than most who are more in the direction of perfection. One of my biggest problem is to visualize my daily progress and i was inspired by your daily habit log. It looks like in video games level up progression. Keep up the good content and keep being real. Subcribed!

    Hey Jay, great video. I just stumbled across your channel. Fine content. I have been a bit down on myself lately and I knew what I should do but didn’t have the words to describe it or give myself the permission to do it. Take an emotional dump is exactly it. I needed to vent a little without seeming like I’m complaining or having a pity party. Taking an emotional dump is necessary. Thank you.

    you really sound like someone who knows what he's doing. Please keep on uploading!!! I really like how specific you are with your explanations. It makes it easier for me to follow through vs. most of the TH-camrs who give their summarized pitch from books and motivational speakers. 🙌👏👏 Also it's funny how you've said cool shit multiple times 😂

    Can you explain how you use the monthly log in a little more detail?

    • @jaydwilliams
      @jaydwilliams  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For the future looking one, use it to put in future plans or birthdays etc. For the current month, I capture significant events so I can review the month easily at a later date
