Tina Yong my armpits used to be little dark but you should stop using razor it makes it even more darker, change your deodorant something that doesn't contain aluminum and alcohol and less perfumed , also scrubbing regularly and wiping your armpits before you sleep to remove any dirt and deodorant lift. Those tips helped me a lot I no longer have dark armpits know 👍 make as your life style and results will be permanent 💕

I personally don't recommend nair harsh chemical can cause allergic reaction also it may make it more darker 👎 for me I use warm wax, or wax strips (be careful not to burn yourself with warm wax) but sometimes they can be expensive to save money 💰try a hair removal machine 👍 it will remove the hair without causing any darkness and you will only have to wash it and clean it with alcohol. This is all based on my personal experience I hope you find it useful ❤️

I guess different countries/cultures have different beauty standards. Here in Southern Europe we never had such issues. The only thing that we care about is having relatively clear skin and as less hair as possible! (we are "blessed" with a lot of body and facial hair! 😂)

yes I have the same issue with dark under arms but I tried the thing with potatoes and it lightened a lot and I also try to use only certain deodorants natural ones don't last long so I use the dove one
moomoona if you mean the potato thing, when you slice a potato and rub it under your under arms I would say after I did it once it made my underarm area very light. Especially since potatoes are much more gentle than lemons I would say at most three times a week

I'm reading comments and I think it's really quite sad so many people are embarrassed about showing their armpits. It only benefits your own self esteem if you stop caring so much what other people think. Also, so many people suffer from social anxiety so while you are out there feeling nervous thinking people are looking at you, talking about you etc, so many other people are thinking the same thing! Personally I go out in the summer so much with unshaven legs or underarms or both (I simply forget or can't be bothered) and not one person has ever said anything to me about it.
There's nothing wrong with your armpits. I have really dark armpits but I don't really care honestly. And I was told when I was younger that the type of deodorant you use could cause dark armpits and it also could be because you keep your deodorant on for to long.

I had dark armpits, like there always was this "dark shade" even after shaved, but after about 8 times of that laser (called Alexandrite) my armpits are WAY better! It's expensive, but you will lose A LOT of hair permanently and the armpits will look a lot brighter! My experience...

i used to have slightly dark and bumpy armpits because i used to shave them or sometimes use a hair removal cream, couple months ago i started waxing my armpits and used activated charcoal on my armpits and you won't believe the results. its amazing . my armpits are super bright and smooth and hairless now😊😉

Hola Tina: I use a creme depilatory every Saturday morning. In the shower, I use an oatmeal infused bar of soap under my arms and those also keep things lighter and less bumpy. Gracias for being brave and trying so many different things...so we choose only those which work! - CL
I know it's a bit/quite late, but mixing baking soda with rice flour and beetroot juice and applying it under your arms helps ( just for people who don't want to invest in a product ) 😌 let it dry for 20 mins and when taking it off just massage it for a minute that will help in scrubbing as well due to rice flour ingredient being added in it

Personally I go out in the summer so much with unshaven legs or underarms or both (I simply forget or can't be bothered) and not one person has ever said anything to me about it.
There's nothing wrong with your armpits. I have really dark armpits but I don't really care honestly. And I was told when I was younger that the type of deodorant you use could cause dark armpits and it also could be because you keep your deodorant on for to long.

When I hit puberty I started growing hair there and I could NOT keep up with plucking it all the time and waxing it was always a dread so one day I gave up and just shaved it...and suffered with dark armpits, which is one of my biggest insecurities. I still shave and my underarms are so dark. I try not to shave too often but when I need to, my underarms get so dark and the skin loosens up.

I had dark armpits, like there always was this "dark shade" even after shaved, but after about 8 times of that laser (called Alexandrite) my armpits are WAY better! It's expensive, but you will lose A LOT of hair permanently and the armpits will look a lot brighter! My experience...

i used to have slightly dark and bumpy armpits because i used to shave them or sometimes use a hair removal cream, couple months ago i started waxing my armpits and used activated charcoal on my armpits and you won't believe the results. its amazing . my armpits are super bright and smooth and hairless now😊😉

Hola Tina: I use a creme depilatory every Saturday morning. In the shower, I use an oatmeal infused bar of soap under my arms and those also keep things lighter and less bumpy. Gracias for being brave and trying so many different things...so we choose only those which work! - CL

I know it's a bit/quite late, but mixing baking soda with rice flour and beetroot juice and applying it under your arms helps ( just for people who don't want to invest in a product ) 😌 let it dry for 20 mins and when taking it off just massage it for a minute that will help in scrubbing as well due to rice flour ingredient being added in it
